  7.     We regularly conduct reader surveys to determine what type of person 
  8.  subscribes to Big Blue Disk.  If we can better determine the likes and 
  9.  dislikes of our subscribers, we can better meet their needs.  The most recent 
  10.  survey was very helpful in that regard and can be viewed as one of the reasons 
  11.  we started ^1PC BusinessDisk^0, a product dedicated solely to helping you 
  12.  become more productive in your work.

  14.     Due to the fast-paced nature of the computing world, Big Blue Disk has 
  15.  recently come to a crossroads.  To continue to grow and provide you with 
  16.  interesting and innovative software for your peronal use, we now recommend 
  17.  that all BBD users have at least 512K of memory.  Notice that this is a 
  18.  RECOMMENDATION, not a REQUIREMENT.  For the foreseeable future, the majority 
  19.  of software we publish will work in 256K of memory.

  21.     Based on our reader survey results, the increased memory recommendation 
  22.  is a safe one.  Most of you already have systems that contain at least that 
  23.  much memory.  For those of you that don't, I would suggest that you consider 
  24.  upgrading to at least 512K.  Memory prices are extremely reasonable and I 
  25.  believe you will find the improved system performance well worth the expense 
  26.  and effort.

  28.     I am really excited about the future of Big Blue Disk.  With the 
  29.  additional memory available for our software, we will be able to provide you 
  30.  programs with increased functionality.  Only a few years ago, I used to think 
  31.  that a personal computer with 64K contained all the memory I could ever use.  
  32.  Today, 640K just doesn't seem to be enough!
