  7.     With Big Blue Disk #32, we usher in the long hot summer months.  Just 
  8.  another reason to grab a glass of iced tea and curl up with your computer.  I 
  9.  don't know about all of ya'll (you guys for you northerners), but around here 
  10.  it gets hot.  Believe me, I won't be straying too far from my nice cool 
  11.  office! 
  12.  
  13.     This month I thought I might introduce you to the people responsible for 
  14.  Big Blue Disk.  First there is our inspirational leader from the north, ^1Mike 
  15.  ^1Amarello^0.  He holds the title of Editor-in-Chief and is responsible for 
  16.  coordinating the production of all publications at Softdisk.  For Big Blue 
  17.  Disk, he has been helping out by producing spreadsheet templates (the first of 
  18.  which is contained in this month's issue).  
  19.  
  20.     ^1George Leritte^0 is the Associate Editor for Big Blue Disk.  George has 
  21.  been working for Softdisk for about 2 1/2 years.  As the Associate Editor he 
  22.  is responsible for pulling the elements of each issue together, but he has 
  23.  also been one of our most prolific programmers.  Brushstrokes, the Print Shop 
  24.  Utilities, Klondike, and the Label Printer are all examples of George's 
  25.  programming prowess.

  27.     ^1Jim Row^0 started out as a programmer for Loadstar, a Commodore 
  28.  publication produced by Softdisk, but is now an Assistant Editor for Big Blue.  
  29.  As well as working on various projects for our magazine (you should see one of 
  30.  his creations next month), he is also responsible for our testing program.  
  31.  Each issue of Big Blue Disk goes out to various testers across the country.  
  32.  He helps by coordinating their responses and verifying that all problems are 
  33.  solved before we publish.

  35.     ^1John Romero^0 is the newest member of the Big Blue staff.  He is an Apple 
  36.  II and Commodore 64 programmer that finally saw the light!  As Assistant 
  37.  Editor, John will convert some of the great programs that we have published on 
  38.  Softdisk, our sister publication for the Apple computer, to the IBM PC.  His 
  39.  past experience includes stints at Origin Systems and Inside Out Software 
  40.  working on conversions of software between the Apple II and Commodore 64 
  41.  computers.  
  42.  
  43.     These are the people I have to cope with each day at work.  America should 
  44.  thank Softdisk for keeping them off the streets!  Actually, these guys are all 
  45.  great individuals to work with.  I look forward to coming to work each day 
  46.  because I know that I work with some of the best!
