ORPHEUS Version 1.62
Orpheus is an advanced, writer-friendly authoring system for makers of
online manuals and tutorials, electronic books, and all other kinds of
hypertext writing. Whether you are a veteran of hypertext or a first-
time author, Orpheus can help you get those great ideas out of the air
and into silicon.
The system consists of two programs: Orpheus Author, an Integrated
Development Environment for hypertext writers; and the Orpheus Reader,
a program for you to distribute with your finished books in compiled
form. Orpheus Author requires a hard disk; the Reader does not.
This package should include the following files:

Orpheus is distributed as shareware and costs $79. You are welcome to
evaluate Orpheus for up to 30 days, after which you are expected to
register the software if you wish to continue using it. You are also
welcome to make copies for friends or to upload it to BBS's, provided
you share only the complete, unaltered system as you received it.
For a comprehensive introduction to Orpheus, including tutorials on how
to create hypertext and produce fine electronic books, see MANUAL1.DOC.
For information on the official support BBS for Orpheus (and how to get
free updates), see below. For an order form that will help me serve you
better, see REGISTER.DOC. For a shareware offer of interest to those who
have downloaded only the third file (with the Reader and sample book),
see OFFER.DOC. For someone who will be happy to hear your comments and
suggestions, write to me (Rod Willmot) at the address below:
