  4.         The Monster and Michelle is a story that will encourage young
  5.     children to read.  It's a predictable yet funny story brings a smile
  6.     on each child's face as they learn to read.  This story has been told
  7.     to hundreds of children for the last 15 years.  They enjoy the
  8.     suspense and excitement that Michelle experiences.  They love the
  9.     surprise ending and  always say, "Again! Tell It To Me Again."  Now
  10.     during the emergence of the computer in the child of the 90's everyday
  11.     world, they can use the computer to help read the story to themselves.

  13.         As a teacher of special education for the past 7 years, I can
  14.     identify the most persistent and frustrating problems of teaching
  15.     children to read.  They become frustrated easily and bored by the
  16.     same old story lines.

  19.     excitement in a predictable format.  The computer uses today's
  20.     technology to bring this story to life.

  39.             STARTING THE PROGRAM
  40.  
  41.     1.  Following instructions for your computer and boot your computer
  42.         with your computer's DOS.
  43.     2.  Insert the MONSTER AND MICHELLE disk in your floppy disk drive.
  44.     3.  At the DOS prompt type the letter of the drive and a colon, then
  45.         press (ENTER).   EXAMPLE: A:(ENTER)
  46.     4.  Now type MM(ENTER) to start THE MONSTER AND MICHELLE program.
