  4.  Someone posted the following in a newsgroup. These are the quotes of
  5. Malcolm X (Malik El-Shabazz) the great American civil rights leader. This
  6. shows what a revolution an understanding of Islam can bring in one's life 
  7. and raise one to such greatness.

  9. "America needs to understand Islam, because this is the one religion
  10.  that erases from its society the race problem.  Throughout my travels
  11.  in the Muslim world, I have met, talked to, and even eaten with people
  12.  who in America would have been considered white, but the white attitude 
  13.  was removed from their minds by the religion of Islam.  I have never
  14.  before seen sincere and true brotherhood practiced by all together,
  15.  irrespective of their color.

  25.  pilgrimage to the Holy city of Mecca, I no longer subscribe to sweeping
  26.  indictments of any one race.  I am now striving to live the life of a 
  27.  true ... Muslim.  I must repeat that I am not a racist nor do I s
  28.  subscribe to the tenents of racism.  I can state in all sincerity that 
  29.  I wish nothing but freedom, justice and equality, life, liberty and the
  30.  persuit of happiness for all people."
