  13.  When Allah decreed the Creation He pledged Himself by writing in His 
  14.  book which is laid down with Him: My mercy prevails over my wrath.

  17.  Hadith Qudsi  2:

  20.  The son of Adam denied Me and he had no right to do so. And he reviled
  21.  Me and he had no right to do so. As for his denying Me, it is his 
  22.  saying: He will not remake me as He made me at first - and the initial
  23.  creation [of him] is no easier for Me than remaking him. As for his 
  24.  reviling Me, it is his saying: Assah has taken to Himself a son, while
  25.  I am the One, the Everlasting Refuge. I begot not nor was I begotten, 
  26.  and there is none comparable to Me.

  29.  Hadith Qudsi  3:
  30.  -----------------

  32.  The Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon 
  33.  him) led the morning prayer for us at al-Hudaybiyah following rainfall
  34.  during the night. When the Prophet (may the blessings and peace of 
  35.  Allah be upon him) finished, he faced the people and said to them: Do 
  36.  you know what your Lord has said? They said: Allah and his Messenger 
  37.  know best. He said: This morning one of my servants became a believer 
  38.  in Me and one a disbeliever. As for him who said: We have been given 
  39.  rain by virtue of Allah and His mercy, that one is a believer in Me, a
  40.  disbeliever in the stars; and as for him who said: We have been given 
  41.  rain by such-and-such a star, that one is a disbeliever in Me, a 
  42.  believer in the stars.

  45.  Hadith Qudsi  4:

  48.  Sons of Adam inveigh against [the vicissitudes of] Time, and I am 
  49.  Time, in My hand is the night and the day.

  55.  I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate.  
  56.  Thus he who does an action for someone else's sake as well as Mine 
  57.  will have that action renounced by Me to him whom he associated with 
  58.  Me.

  61.  Hadith Qudsi  6:
  62.  -----------------
  63.  
  64.  The first of people against whom judgment will be pronounced on the 
  65.  Day of Resurrection will be a man who died a martyr.  He will be 
  66.  brought and Allah will make known to him His favours and he will 
  67.  recognize them.  [ The Almighty] will say: And what did you do about 
  68.  them? He will say: I fought for you until I died a martyr.  He will 
  69.  say: You have lied - you did but fight that it might be said [of you]:
  70.  He is courageous.  And so it was said.  Then he will be ordered to be 
  71.  dragged along on his face until he is cast into Hell-fire.  [Another] 
  72.  will be a man who has studied [religious] knowledge and has taught it 
  73.  and who used to recite the Quran.  He will be brought and Allah will 
  74.  make known to his His favours and he will recognize them.  [The 
  75.  Almighty] will say: And what did you do about them?  He will say: I 
  76.  studied [religious] knowledge and I taught it and I recited the Quran 
  77.  for Your sake.  He will say: You have lied - you did but study 
  78.  [religious] knowledge that it might be said [of you]: He is learned.  
  79.  And you recited the Quran that it might be said [of you]: He is a 
  80.  reciter.  And so it was said.  Then he will be ordered to be dragged 
  81.  along on his face until he is cast into Hell-fire.  [Another] will be 
  82.  a man whom Allah had made rich and to whom He had given all kinds of 
  83.  wealth.  He will be brought and Allah will make known to his His 
  84.  favours and he will recognize them.  [The Almighty] will say: And what
  85.  did you do about them?  He will say: I left no path [untrodden] in 
  86.  which You like money to be spent without spending in it for Your sake.
  87.   He will say: You have lied - you did but do so that it might be said 
  88.  [of you]: He is open-handed.  And so it was said.  Then he will be 
  89.  ordered to be dragged along on his face until he is cast into 
  90.  Hell-fire.

  93.  Hadith Qudsi  7:
  94.  -----------------
  95.  
  96.  Your Lord delights at a shepherd who, on the peak of a mountain crag, 
  97.  gives the call to prayer and prays.  Then Allah (glorified and exalted
  98.  be He) say: Look at this servant of Mine, he gives the call to prayer 
  99.  and performs the prayers;  he is in awe of Me.  I have forgiven My 
  100.  servant [his sins] and have admitted him to Paradise.

  103.  Hadith Qudsi  8:
  104.  -----------------

  106.  A prayer performed by someone who has not recited the Essence of the 
  107.  Quran during it is deficient (and he repeated the word three times), 
  108.  incomplete.  Someone said to Abu Hurayrah: [Even though] we are behind
  109.  the imam?  He said: Recite it to yourself, for I have heard the 
  110.  Prophet (may the blessings and peace of Allah be up on him) say: Allah
  111.  (mighty and sublime be He), had said: I have divided prayer between 
  112.  Myself and My servant into two halves, and My servant shall have what 
  113.  he has asked for.  When the servant says: Al-hamdu lillahi rabbi 
  114.  l-alamin, Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says: My servant has 
  115.  praised Me.  And when he says: Ar-rahmani r-rahim, Allah (mighty and 
  116.  sublime be He) says: My servant has extolled Me, and when he says: 
  117.  Maliki yawmi d-din, Allah says: My servant has glorified Me - and on 
  118.  one occasion He said: My servant has submitted to My power.  And when 
  119.  he says: Iyyaka na budu wa iyyaka nasta in, He says: This is between 
  120.  Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for.  
  121.  And when he says: Ihdina s-sirata l- mustaqim, siratal ladhina an amta
  122.  alayhim ghayril-maghdubi alayhim wa la d-dallin, He says: This is for 
  123.  My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for.

  126.  Hadith Qudsi  9:

  129.  The fist of his actions for which a servant of Allah will be held 
  130.  accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers.  If they 
  131.  are in order, then he will have prospered and succeeded: and if they 
  132.  are wanting, then he will have failed and lost.  If there is something
  133.  defective in his obligatory prayers, the Lord (glorified and exalted 
  134.  be He) will say: See if My servant has any supererogatory prayers with
  135.  which may be completed that which was defective in his obligatory 
  136.  prayers.  Then the rest of his actions will be judged in like 
  137.  fashion.

  140.  Hadith Qudsi 10:

  143.  Fasting is Mine and it I who give reward for it.  [A man] gives up his
  144.  sexual passion, his food and his drink for my sake.  Fasting is like a
  145.  shield, and he who fasts has two joys: a joy whin he breaks his fast 
  146.  and a joy when he meets his Lord.  The change in the breath of the 
  147.  mouth of him who fasts is better in Allah's estimation than the smell 
  148.  of musk.

  154.  Spend (on charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.

  160.  A man from among those who were before you was called to account.  
  161.  Nothing in the way of good was found for him except that he used to 
  162.  have dealings with people and, being well-to-do, he would order his 
  163.  servants to let off the man in straitened circumstances [from repaying
  164.  his debt].  He (the Prophet p.b.u.h) said that Allah said: We are 
  165.  worthier than you of that (of being so generous).  Let him off.

  168.  Hadith Qudsi 13:
  169.  -----------------
  170.  
  171.  I was with the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of 
  172.  Allah be upon him) and there came to him two men: one of them was 
  173.  complaining of penury (being very poor), while the other was 
  174.  complaining of brigandry (robbery).  The Messenger of Allah (may the 
  175.  blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: As for brigandry, it 
  176.  will be but a short time before a caravan will [be able to] go out of 
  177.  Mecca without a guard.  As for penury, the Hour (Day of Judgement) 
  178.  will not arrive before one of you takes his charity around without 
  179.  finding anyone to accept it from him.  Then one of you will surely 
  180.  stand before Allah, there being no screed between Him and him, nor an 
  181.  interpreter to translate for him.  Then He will say to him: Did I not 
  182.  bring you wealth? And he will say: Yes.  Then He will say: Did I not 
  183.  send to you a messenger?  And he will say: Yes.  And he will look to 
  184.  his right and will see nothing but Hell-fire, then he will look to his
  185.  left and will see nothing but Hell-fire, so let each of you protect 
  186.  himself against Hell-fire, be it with even half a date - and if he 
  187.  finds it not, then with a kind word.

  190.  Hadith Qudsi 14:
  191.  -----------------
  192.  
  193.  Allah (glorified and exalted be He) has supernumerary angels who rove 
  194.  about seeking out gatherings in which Allah's name is being invoked: 
  195.  they sit with them and fold their wings round each other, fillin that 
  196.  which is between them and between the lowest heaven.  When [the people
  197.  in the gathering] depart, [the angels] ascend and rise up to heaven.  
  198.  He (the Prophet p.b.u.h.) said: Then Allah (mighty and sublime be He) 
  199.  asks them - [though] He is most knowing about them: From where have 
  200.  you come? And they say: We have come from some servants of Yours on 
  201.  Earth: they were glorifying You (Subhana llah), exalting you (Allahu 
  202.  akbar), witnessing that there is no god but You (La ilaha illa llah), 
  203.  praising You (Al-Hamdu lillah), and asking [favours] of You.  He says:
  204.  And what do they ask of Me?  They say: They ask of You Your Paradise. 
  205.  He says: And have they seen My Paradise?  They say: No, O Lord.  He 
  206.  says: And how would it be were they to have seen My Paradise!  They 
  207.  say: And they ask protection of You.  He says: From what do they ask 
  208.  protection of Me?  They say: From Your Hell-fire, O Lord.  He says: 
  209.  And have they seen My Hell-fire?  They say: NO.  He says: And how 
  210.  would it be were they to have seen My Hell-fire:  They say: And they 
  211.  ask for Your forgiveness.  He (the Prophet p.b.u.h) said: Then He 
  212.  says: I have forgiven them and I have bestowed upon them what they 
  213.  have asked for,and I have granted them sanctuary from that from which 
  214.  they asked protection.  He (the Prophet p.b.u.h) said: They say: O 
  215.  Lord, among then is So-and-so, a much sinning servant, who was merely 
  216.  passing by and sat down with them.  He (the Prophet p.b.u.h) said: And
  217.  He says: And to him [too] I have given forgiveness: he who sits with 
  218.  such people shall not suffer.

  221.  Hadith Qudsi 15:

  224.  I am as My servant thinks I am.  I am with him when he makes mention 
  225.  of Me.  If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to
  226.  Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention 
  227.  of him in an assemble better than it.  And if he draws near to Me an 
  228.  arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length.  And if he comes 
  229.  to Me walking, I go to him at speed.

  232.  Hadith Qudsi 16:

  235.  Allah has written down the good deeds and the bad ones.  Then He 
  236.  explained it [by saying that] he who has intended a good deed and has 
  237.  not done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed, 
  238.  but if he has intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down with 
  239.  Himself as from ten good deeds to seven hundred times, or many times 
  240.  over.  But if he has intended a bad deed and has not done it, Allah 
  241.  writes it down with Himself as a full good deed, but if he has 
  242.  intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed.

  245.  Hadith Qudsi 17:

  247.  
  248.  O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it
  249.  forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another.  O My servants, 
  250.  all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance
  251.  of Me and I shall guide you, O My servants, all of you are hungry 
  252.  except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. 
  253.  O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, 
  254.  so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you.  O My servants, you sin
  255.  by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me
  256.  and I shall forgive you.  O My servants, you will not attain harming 
  257.  Me so as to harm Me, and will not attain benefitting Me so as to 
  258.  benefit Me.  O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you,
  259.  the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious 
  260.  heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in 
  261.  anything.  O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, 
  262.  the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most 
  263.  wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom
  264.  in anything.  O My servants, were the first of you and the last of 
  265.  you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and 
  266.  make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, 
  267.  that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases 
  268.  the sea if put into it.  O My servants, it is but your deeds that I 
  269.  reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him finds good 
  270.  praise Allah and let him who finds other that blame no one but 
  271.  himself.

  274.  Hadith Qudsi 18:
  275.  -----------------
  276.  
  277.  O son of Adam, I fell ill and you visited Me not.  He will say: O 
  278.  Lord, and how should I visit You when You are the Lord of the worlds? 
  279.  He will say: Did you not know that My servant So-and-so had fallen ill
  280.  and you visited him not?  Did you not know that had you visited him 
  281.  you would have found Me with him?  O son of Adam, I asked you for food
  282.  and you fed Me not.  He will say: O Lord, and how should I feed You 
  283.  when You are the Lord of the worlds?  He will say: Did you not know 
  284.  that My servant So-and-so asked you for food and you fed him not?  Did
  285.  you not know that had you fed him you would surely have found that 
  286.  (the reward for doing so) with Me?  O son of Adam, I asked you to give
  287.  Me to drink and you gave Me not to drink.  He will say: O Lord, how 
  288.  should I give You to drink whin You are the Lord of the worlds?  He 
  289.  will say: My servant So-and-so asked you to give him to drink and you 
  290.  gave him not to drink.  Had you given him to drink you would have 
  291.  surely found that with Me.

  294.  Hadith Qudsi 19:

  297.  Pride is my cloak and greatness My robe, and he who competes with Me 
  298.  in respect of either of them I shall cast into Hell-fire.

  301.  Hadith Qudsi 20:

  303.  
  304.  The gates of Paradise will be opened on Mondays and on Thursdays, and 
  305.  every servant [of Allah] who associates nothing with Allah will be 
  306.  forgiven, except for the man who has a grudge against his brother.  
  307.  [About them] it will be said: Delay these two until they are 
  308.  reconciled; delay these two until they are reconciled.

  311.  Hadith Qudsi 21:

  314.  There are three whose adversary I shall be on the Day of Resurrection:
  315.  a man who has given his word by Me and has broken it; a man who has 
  316.  sold a free man and has consumed the price; and a man who has hired a 
  317.  workman, has exacted his due in full from him and has not given him 
  318.  his wage.

  321.  Hadith Qudsi 22:

  324.  Let not any one of you belittle himself.  They said: O Messenger of 
  325.  Allah, how can any one of us belittle himself?  He said: He finds a 
  326.  matter concerning Allah about which he should say something, and he 
  327.  does not say [it], so Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says to
  328.  him on the Day of Resurrection: What prevented you from saying
  329.  something about such-and-such and such-and-such?  He say: [It
  330.  was] out of fear of people.  Then He says: Rather it is I whom
  331.  you should more properly fear.

  334.  Hadith Qudsi 23:

  337.  Where are those who love one another through My glory?  Today I shall 
  338.  give them shade in My shade, it being a day when there is no shade but
  339.  My shade.

  342.  Hadith Qudsi 24:

  345.  If Allah has loved a servant [of His] He calls Gabriel (on whom be 
  346.  peace) and says: I love So-and-so, therefore love him.  He (the 
  347.  Prophet pbuh) said: So Gabriel loves him.  Then he (Gabriel) calls out
  348.  in heaven, saying:  Allah loves So-and-so, therefore love him.  And 
  349.  the inhabitants of heaven love him.  He (the Prophet pbuh) said: Then 
  350.  acceptance is established for him on earth.  And if Allah has abhorred
  351.  a servant [of His], He calls Gabriel and says: I abhor So-and-so, 
  352.  therefore abhor him.  So Gabriel abhors him.  Then Gabriel calls out 
  353.  to the inhabitants of heaven: Allah abhors So-and-so, therefore abhor 
  354.  him.  He (the Prophet pbuh) said: So they abhor him, and abhorrence is
  355.  established for him on earth.

  358.  Hadith Qudsi 25:
  359.  -----------------
  360.  
  361.  Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war 
  362.  with him.  My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by
  363.  Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant 
  364.  continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall
  365.  love him.  When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his 
  366.  seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot
  367.  with which he walks.  Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely
  368.  give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant
  369.  him it.  I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about 
  370.  [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate 
  371.  hurting him.

  374.  Hadith Qudsi 26:

  377.  Truly of those devoted to Me the one I most favour is a believer who 
  378.  is of meagre means and much given to prayer, who has been particular 
  379.  in the worship of his Lord and has obeyed Him inwardly, who was 
  380.  obscure among people and not pointed our, and whose sustenance was 
  381.  just sufficient to provide for him yet he bore this patiently.  Then 
  382.  the Prophet (pbuh) rapped his hand and said: Death will have come 
  383.  early to him, his mourners will have been few,  his estate scant.

  386.  Hadith Qudsi 27:

  389.  We asked Abdullah (i.e. Ibn Masud) about this verse: And do not regard
  390.  those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead, rather are 
  391.  they alive with their Lord, being provided for (Quran Chapter 3 Verse 
  392.  169).  He said: We asked about that and the Prophet (pbuh) said: Their
  393.  souls are in the insides of green birds having lanterns suspended from
  394.  the Throne, roaming freely in Paradise where they please, then taking 
  395.  shelter in those lanterns.  So their Lord cast a glance at them and 
  396.  said: Do you wish for anything?  They said: What shall we wish for 
  397.  when we roam freely in Paradise where we please?  And thus did He do 
  398.  to them three times.  When they say that they would not be spared from
  399.  being asked [again], they said: O Lord, we would like for You to put 
  400.  back our souls into our bodies so that we might fight for Your sake 
  401.  once again.  And when He saw that they were not in need of anything 
  402.  they were let be.

  405.  Hadith Qudsi 28:

  408.  There was amongst those before you a man who had a wound.  He was in 
  409.  [such] anguish that he took a knife and made with it a cut in his 
  410.  hand, and the blood did not cease to flow till he died.  Allah the 
  411.  Almighty said: My servant has himself forestalled Me; I  have 
  412.  forbidden him Paradise.

  415.  Hadith Qudsi 29:

  418.  My faithful servant's reward from Me, if I have taken to Me his best 
  419.  friend from amongst the inhabitants of the world and he has then borne
  420.  it patiently for My sake, shall be nothing less than Paradise.

  423.  Hadith Qudsi 30:
  424.  -----------------
  425.  
  426.  If My servant likes to meet Me, I like to meet him; and if he dislikes
  427.  to meet Me, I dislike to meet him.  Prophetic explanation of this 
  428.  Sacred Hadith: He who likes to meet Allah, Allah likes to meet him; 
  429.  and he who dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him.  Aishah
  430.  (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Prophet of Allah, is it 
  431.  because of the dislike of death, for all of us dislike death? The 
  432.  Prophet (pbuh) said: It is not so, but rather it is that when the 
  433.  believer is given news of Allah's mercy, His approval and His 
  434.  Paradise, he likes to meet Allah and Allah likes to meet him; but when
  435.  the unbeliever is given  news of Allah's punishment and His 
  436.  displeasure, he dislikes to meet Allah and Allah dislikes to meet 
  437.  him.

  440.  Hadith Qudsi 31:

  442.  
  443.  A man said: By Allah, Allah will not forgive So-and-so.  At this Allah
  444.  the Almighty said: Who is he who swears by Me that I will not forgive 
  445.  So-and-so?  Verily I have forgiven So-and-so and have nullified your 
  446.  [own good] deeds (or as he said [it]).

  449.  Hadith Qudsi 32:

  452.  A man sinned greatly against himself, and when death came to him he 
  453.  charged his sons, saying: When I have died, burn me, then crush me and
  454.  scatter [my ashes] into the sea, for, by Allah, if my Lord takes 
  455.  possession of me, He will punish me in a manner in which He has 
  456.  punished no one [else].  So they  did that to him.  Then He said to 
  457.  the earth: Produce what you have taken-and there he was!  And He said 
  458.  to him:  What induced you to do what you did?  He said: Being afraid 
  459.  of You, O my Lord (or he said: Being frightened of You) and because of
  460.  that He forgave him.

  463.  Hadith Qudsi 33:

  466.  A servant [of Allah's] committed a sin and said: O Allah, forgive me 
  467.  my sin.  And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has 
  468.  committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and
  469.  punishes for them.  Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me 
  470.  my sin.  And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has 
  471.  committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and
  472.  punishes for them.  Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me 
  473.  my sin.  And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has 
  474.  committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and
  475.  punishes for sins.  Do what you wish, for I have forgiven you.

  478.  Hadith Qudsi 34:

  480.  
  481.  O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall 
  482.  forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind.  O son of 
  483.  Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then 
  484.  to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you.  O son of Adam, were 
  485.  you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you 
  486.  then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you 
  487.  forgiveness nearly as great at it.

  490.  Hadith Qudsi 35:

  493.  Our Lord (glorified and exalted be He) descends each night to the 
  494.  earth's sky when there remains the final third of the night, and He 
  495.  says: Who is saying a prayer to Me that I may answer it?  Who is 
  496.  asking something of Me that I may give it him?  Who is asking 
  497.  forgiveness of Me that I may forgive him?  And thus He continues till 
  498.  [the light of] dawn shines.

  501.  Hadith Qudsi 36:

  504.  The believers will gather together on the Day of Resurrection and will
  505.  say: Should we not ask [someone] to intercede for us with our Lord?  
  506.  So they will come to Adam and will say: You are the Father of mankind;
  507.  Allah created you with His hand He made His angels bow down to you and
  508.  He taught you the names of everything, so intercede for us with you 
  509.  Lord so that He may give us relief form this place where we are.  And 
  510.  he will say: I am not in a position [to do that] - and he will mention
  511.  his wrongdoing and will feel ashamed and will say: Go to Noah, for he 
  512.  is the first messenger that Allah sent to the inhabitants of the 
  513.  earth.  So they will come to him and he will say: I am not in a 
  514.  position [to do that] - and he will mention his having requested 
  515.  something of his Lord about which he had no [proper] knowledge (Quran 
  516.  Chapter 11 Verses 45-46), and he will feel ashamed and will say: Go to
  517.  the Friend of the Merciful (Abraham).  So they will come to him and he
  518.  will say: I am not in a position  [to do that].  Go to Moses, a 
  519.  servant to whom Allah talked and to whom He gave the Torah.  So they 
  520.  will come to him and he will say: I am not in a  position [to do that]
  521.  - and he will mention the talking of a life other that for a life 
  522.  (Quran Chapter 28 Verses 15-16), and he will fell ashamed in the sight
  523.  of his Lord and will say: Go to Jesus, Allah's servant and messenger, 
  524.  Allah's word and spirit.  So they will come to him and he will say: I 
  525.  am not in a position [to do that].  Go to Muhammad (may the blessings 
  526.  and peace of Allah be upon him), a servant to whom Allah has forgiven 
  527.  all his wrongdoing, past and future.  So they will come to me and I 
  528.  shall set forth to ask permission to come to my Lord, and permission 
  529.  will be given, and when I shall see my Lord I shall prostrate myself. 
  530.  He will leave me thus for such time as it pleases Him, and then it 
  531.  will be said [to me]: Raise your head.  Ask and it will be granted.  
  532.  Speak and it will be heard.  Intercede and your intercession will be 
  533.  accepted.  So I shall raise my head and praise Him with a form of 
  534.  praise that He will teach me.  Then I shall intercede and HE will set 
  535.  me a limit [as to the number of people], so I shall admit them into 
  536.  Paradise.  Then I shall return to Him, and when I shall see my Lord [I
  537.  shall bow down] as before.  Then I shall intercede and He will set me 
  538.  a limit [as to the number of people].  So I shall admit them into 
  539.  Paradise.  Then I shall return for a third time, then a fourth, and I 
  540.  shall say: There remains in Hell-fire only those whom the Quran has 
  541.  confined and who must be there for eternity.  There shall come out of 
  542.  Hell-fire he who has said: There is no god but Allah and who has in 
  543.  his heart goodness weighing a barley-corn; then there shall come out 
  544.  of Hell-fire he who has said: There is no god but Allah and who has in
  545.  his heart goodness weighing a grain of wheat; then there shall come 
  546.  out of Hell-fire he who has said: There is no god but Allah and who 
  547.  has in his heart goodness weighing an atom.

  550.  Hadith Qudsi 37:

  553.  I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no 
  554.  ear has heard, not has it occurred to human heart.  Thus recite if you
  555.  wish: And no soul knows what joy for them (the inhabitants of 
  556.  Paradise) has been kept hidden (Quran Chapter 32 Verse 17).

  559.  Hadith Qudsi 38:

  562.  When Allah created Paradise and Hell-fire, He sent Gabriel to 
  563.  Paradise, saying: Look at it and at what I have prepared therein for 
  564.  its inhabitants.  The Prophet (pbuh) said: So he came to it and looked
  565.  at it and at what Allah had prepared therein for its inhabitants.  The
  566.  Prophet (pbuh) said: So he returned to Him and said: By your glory, no
  567.  one hears of it without entering it.  So He ordered that it be 
  568.  encompassed by forms of hardship, and He said: Return to it and look 
  569.  at what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants.  The Prophet 
  570.  (pbuh) said: So he returned to it and found that it was encompassed by
  571.  forms of hardship.  Then he returned to Him and said: By Your glory, I
  572.  fear that no one will enter it.  He said: Go to Hell-fire and look at 
  573.  it and what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants, and he fount 
  574.  that it was in layers, one above the other.  Then he returned to Him 
  575.  and said: By Your glory, no one who hears of it will enter it.  So He 
  576.  ordered that it be encompassed by lusts.  Then He said: Return to it. 
  577.  And he returned to it and said: By Your glory, I am frightened that no
  578.  one will escape from entering it.

  581.  Hadith Qudsi 39:

  584.  Paradise and Hell-fire disputed together, and Hell-fire said: In me 
  585.  are the mighty and the haughty.  Paradise said: In me are the weak and
  586.  the poor.  So Allah judged between them, [saying]: You are Paradise, 
  587.  My mercy; through you I show mercy to those I wish.  And you are 
  588.  Hell-fire, My punishment; through you I punish those I wish, and it is
  589.  incumbent upon Me that each of you shall have its fill.

  592.  Hadith Qudsi 40:

  595.  Allah will say to the inhabitant of Paradise: O inhabitants of 
  596.  Paradise!  They will say: O our Lord, we present ourselves and are at 
  597.  Your pleasure, and goodness rests in Your hands.  Then He will say: 
  598.  Are you contented? And they will say: And how should we not be 
  599.  contented, O Lord, when You have given to us that which You have given
  600.  to no one else of Your creation?  Then He will say: Would not like Me 
  601.  to give you something better than that?  And they will say: O Lord and
  602.  what thing is better than that? And He will say: I shall cause My 
  603.  favour to descend upon you and thereafter shall never be displeased 
  604.  with you.
