TIME
----
Using this new option will keep your 'life' organized and on
time! If you are planning to use the TIMETSR program that comes with
CALMINDER 3.1, entering in the time can be very easy for you. You can
enter in the Standard time (not military time). Example: 02:00 am or
10:00 pm. ( You can enter in hour/minute AND pm/am )
X-DAYS does NOT have fields to input time due to difficulty of
implementing it in the TIMETSR.EXE program. ( See Help Section 8 for more details )

*IMPORTANT*
----------
For X-DAYS and ONE-TIME, you must input the FULL year. (19XX)

SECTION 7 - COMMENTS
***********************************************************************
* *
- Unlike the others, X-DAYS does not have 'time' fields. The reason is
that it was difficult enough to implement the other options in the
TIMETSR program. Having TIMETSR check for reminders from X-DAYS
class would have taken many more of your system memory. Choose
ONE-TIME in replace of X-DAYS when adding in the time fields.
*************** For Calminder 3.1 registered users only *******************
- TIMETSR is a separate tsr program that stays in memory once you
manually run it ( unless you place in your AUTOEXEC.BAT ).
Once installed in memory, it will check for any reminders every
minute. You can work in any DOS application and TIMETSR will beep and
display a message if you have any reminder due at that very minute.
The message will NOT erase any previous information that it may go
over. ( Read the textfile "TIMETSR.DOC" for more details. )
************** For Calminder 3.1 registered users only ********************
- CHECKER is another separate program,CHECK.EXE, that you can run anytime
from DOS and check for any daily reminders. You can increment or
decrement the date by using the arrow keys. You can also get
a printout for any day you have displayed on you screen.
- If you have a Microsoft-comptable mouse, use it! It is very useful
in this program. The square box in the upper-left corner means to
"escape". And the arrows in the upper-right corner means to expand
or contrast the window. You can also move the window around by
placing the cursor on the window boundary, and then by holding
down the left mouse button and moving your mouse, the window can
move around!
If your mouse interferes with the menus, exit the program
and re-enter in Calminder and use the keyboard instead to avoid conflicts.
- Once you become familiar with this program, you can try using
the "hotkeys" which is quicker way of picking any options. All
of the options have a highlighted letter. To pick that option
without having to highlight it, is to press <ALT> and the
highlighted letter of the option at the same time.
