  14. The NSRA meets on the second Monday of the month at the Cy Tenny Club 
  15. in West Peabody. Doors open at 7:00pm and the meeting starts at 8:00pm. 
  16.  
  17. The next meeting will be on June 14 and will be our annual Field Day 
  18. orientation meeting. Come and see the faces behind the microphone, 
  19. participate in our prize raffle, and enjoy some refreshments and 
  20. good conversation. As always, you do not need to be a member nor 
  21. a Ham to attend. Talk-In: 145.47 Danvers Repeater. See you there!

  28. Meetings 4th Monday at Beverly, MA.

  30. All those wishing to have QSL cards checked for DXCC or Worked All 
  31. States, please come to our table at the New England ARRL Convention 
  32. in Manchester New Hampshire on July 24-25. Please bring cards and 
  33. appropriate paperwork filled out.

  35. This fall the club will be having an 'Introduction to DX/HF' meeting. 
  36. If you are interested in DXing or just plain HFing, please come to 
  37. our meeting and feel free to bring a friend. This meeting will be 
  38. Oct. 25, Monday evening at 7:30PM. Our meetings are held the 4th 
  39. Monday of the month from September through May at the First Baptist 
  40. Church on Cabot Street in Beverly.

  42. Our membership is comprised of beginners to Hams that have worked 
  43. everything on the map. We can offer our help with DXing, antenna 
  44. installation and using the Packet cluster network. If you would

  49. The Editors Letter

  51. Here we are folks... another newsletter, another field day, another 
  52. summer. This is the last newsletter before the July-August break so 
  53. I hope all of you will have a nice and safe summer. Keep the news 
  54. and articles flowing so that Septembers edition will be even better 
  55. than this one. 
  56.  
  57. I would like to invite anyone to contact me if you have questions, 
  58. comments, suggestions or complaints about the NSRA. As the clubs 
  59. Director I would like to hear more from the membership. My position 
  60. is to be the eyes and ears of the general membership and to represent 
  61. the members at Executive Board meetings. I have been with the club 
  62. for a number of years now and have heard a lot of comments and 
  63. suggestions from members... the problem is that they were whispered 
  64. at the back of the room at a meeting or between a few guys on a 
  65. simplex frequency. I will listen if you would like to talk. I am very
  66. open to new ideas and better ways to do things. Don't be afraid to 
  67. speak up!

  69. If anyone is interested in a General License class please let me know. 
  70. If we get enough interested parties then we should be able to hold 
  71. one soon. I will most likely be again teaching a Technician class 
  72. after Field Day sometime but we will find you a good teacher if you 
  73. are looking to upgrade to General. I will keep you posted.

  75. I hope to see many of you at Field Day. I will be there for the entire 
  76. event  as usual and hope that everyone will come on down and help out. 
  77. Operate, setup, log, hold a flashlight, anything... just come on down 
  78. to Winter Island.
