AVERAGE USERS MONTHLY

the average user. No extensive technical jargon, nothing to
insult the intelligence of someone who obviously has the
knowledge to download these files.

NOTE FROM EDITOR: Hmmm... Not a peep out there. Guess no-one is reading.
Oh well! I'll just keep hacking away here until some
one tells me to stop. Firstly, this month I'd like to thank Mike
Thompson, sysop of the local bulletin board "Mikes' Gamesroom" for his
review (albeit a brief one) of the Windows sound system. Not incredibly
in depth, but it's the effort and the honesty that counts, not neccesarily
length or "professionalism." Of course, if _YOU_ have anything to write,
simply slap it on a disk or netmail it to us. I'd love to hear from you!
I'm going to keep things short this month. I realise that the
issue is a little smaller this time around, but unfortunately with
work and vacations, and the like I haven't had as much time as I would
have liked. Plus with upgrades to new software (most notably Word Perfect
six.0) there are a few "operator" bugs that need to be worked out. Just
wait till next month. Things will return to thier normal selves.
