  10.     Mack is Heading for 100!

  12.     With the latest upload of ALLMACK5.LZH we add Mack issues 75
  13.     through 93 to the archives. Satirical material is plentiful
  14.     to say the least and Mack has plenty to say. You can expect to
  15.     continue to view Mack well past the year 2030. Of course all
  16.     bets are off if Mack runs for office. Then again maybe his
  17.     viewpoint will change?

  19.     Mack Gets an EGA/VGA Facelift
  20.     ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  21.     We are still in the process of translating selected Mack strips
  22.     to GIF format for a variety of uses including EGA\VGA electronic
  23.     publishing formats and animated short subjects.

  25.     Multimedia Goes Telecom with BIG and CONDOR
  26.     ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  27.     If you are interested in telepublishing check out the DPA file
  28.     area on GENIE. You will find the latest in tele-publishing software.
  29.     Blue Instant Graphics has been uploaded along with sample
  30.     publications. This is an exciting new development in
  31.     telepublishing since, it offer online VGA, EGA, Mouse support,
  32.     Animation, Adlib and speaker sound support. BP is the offline
  33.     viewer.

  35.     In a recent development, Larry Mears, the author of BIG has
  36.     released an ANSI replacement that offers command line graphics
  37.     in DOS or online. CGA\EGA\VGA resolutions in addition to ANSI
  38.     all without terminals or graphic presentation programs.

  40.     Online Publishing offers new ANSI publications for BBS's
  41.     ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  42.     As a spinoff from the popular Mack Telecomics, Online Publishing
  43.     will be offering additional subscription screen services for
  44.     "Science Facts", "In History", "World Explorer", "Home Cooking",
  45.     and "Good Earth". Each series will offer subscribers weekly
  46.     screens on specific topics of interest to BBS callers. The
  47.     subscription rate is $1 per screen in groups of 10. Back issues
  48.     are 50 cents each in groups of 20.

  50.     Subscribers Are Buzzing.....

  52.     We would like to welcome Andy Nachbaur and the Wild Bee's BBS
  53.     to our family of subscribers. Reggie the Rattler, Talking
  54.     Head and Yellow Bird is being carried on Wild Bee's BBS,
  55.     Wild NET and BEE-NET.

  57.     MACK THE MOUSE Get's His Own Conference!!

  59.     Mack recently got his first dedicated conference on PlanoNet. Yap
  60.     a place to call home. The general format in the conference is an
  61.     online ANSI comic forum where telecomics are welcome and political
  62.     viewpoints are as diverse as those participating in discussions.

  64.     More Formats Under Consideration...

  66.     After trying unsuccessfully to convert Mack to monochrome
  67.     for message areas, Online Publishing is considering a
  68.     monochrome Mike. Mike is a "human" and works well in the
  69.     monochrome world. However, the project is on hold until
  70.     more time can be found to make conversions and re-writes.
  71.     The market for this product has yet to see more than
  72.     two BBS's interested in the conversions.
