Welcome to EXTRA CLASS MANAGER for Windows by William R. Wharton, Jr.,
and distributed by PRACTICAL-ly Software.
To ensure that the zipped distribution file has not been
tampered with, you should verify that the Authenticity Verification
number that was displayed when the file was unzipped is QTQ974, and that
the file creation date on all files is 8-25-93 at 10:00 p.m. This is
your added protection against file tampering. If your verification number
does not match, a guaranteed authentic file can be downloaded from the
PRACTICAL-ly Software BBS at (301) 916-9298.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This program requires the file VBRUN200.DLL, which is a dynamically-linked
library that links the program itself to Microsoft Windows. VBRUN200.DLL is
a Microsoft file which is not supposed to be distributed for use other than
with Visual Basic applications, which Extra Class Manager is. However, the
file is 357K, and requires a non-trivial amount of download time, especially
for people who have slower modems. Since a lot of people already have this
file on their system, it is not included in the zip file sent to BBS's. If
you don't have this file yet, you need to get it before you can use Extra
Class Manager. It's probably available on a bulletin board which is local
to you. If not, you can download it from the PRACTICAL-ly Software BBS at
301-916-9298. There is no charge.

Before you begin, please browse through the documentation file, XTRAMGR2.DOC.
This file can be printed out by typing "TYPE XTRAMGR2.DOC > PRN" at the DOS
prompt, or by typing "PRINT XTRAMGR2.DOC" at the DOS prompt. Or you can use
your favorite word processor.
If you would like to print out a formatted copy of the documentation using
Word Perfect 5.1, then use the file, XTRAMGR2.WPF. The document is formatted
for a HP Laserjet IIP, using the default font of Helvetica 12pt.
I hope you enjoy using EXTRA CLASS MANAGER. If you have any problems,
information on technical support is in the documentation file.
