  3.      Version 4.03 has a larger user file.  You will have to erase
  4. all user configuration (SMn.USR) files if you have previously used an
  5. earlier version and are installing 4.04.
  6.  
  7.      Version 4.01-6 are new and are likely to contain a few bugs.  Please
  8. be patient until I can get them fixed.
  9.  
  10.      I would very much appreciate your letting me know about any bugs,
  11. inconsistencies, or cosmetic defects you find.  I am especially
  12. interested to know how the Sound Blaster support is working on
  13. different computers.  Please the note the need to insert an
  14. "environment string" in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file if you plan to use a
  15. Sound Blaster card.  See the DOC file for details.

  17.      If you find errors in the current version, send a formatted diskette
  18. (preferably 5 1/4 high density or 3 1/2) and a self-address, stamped
  19. diskette mailer, and I will send you a corrected version as soon as it is
  20. available.

  22.      I apologize that Word Perfect does not save the DOC file in ASCII
  23. format with page numbers. If you would like to have a copy of the DOC file
  24. in Word Perfect format to print your own manual with page numbers, please
  25. send a formatted diskette and a stamped, self-addressed mailer. The Word
  26. Perfect format can be read by most popular word processors.

  28.      I do not notify users of new versions.  Watch Compuserve HAMNET or
  29. your favorite bulletin board for the latest version.  If you like you can
  30. send me a formatted diskette and stamped, self-addressed mailer, and I will
  31. hold it until a new version is released.
