  3.    Recently I have purchased a TM-742A tri-bander and am very happy with it.
  4. Out of the box the radio has many different useful and NICE-TO-HAVE features.
  5.    You will NEVER be short of memory channels with this baby,after modification
  6. the 742 has 606 memories;NOT JUST 303!It also has an un-documented PL tone
  7. search,which is easily activated by pressing and holding the TONE button.It is
  8. a smart one though,it stops searching if there is no signal present,and
  9. procedes when the carrier returns.As far as intermod it works pretty
  10. well,considering it is a new radio.I have 80 2 meter memories,which are all
  11. repeaters,and I can HIT them all.BRAVO!KENWOOD!
  12.   I FINALLY found a radio I really enjoy using.The 742 frequency range is as
  13. follows-118-173.995\215-259.995\410-469.995\800-999MHZ after mod.If you need
