  11. The Russian newspaper Patriot has published a list of new call sign
  12. prefix allocations for amateurs in countries of the the Commonwealth
  13. of Independent States.  The list appeared in the April 22 column ''On
  14. the Amateur Bands,'' by Boris Stepanov, UW3AX, who attributed the
  15. information to UA3AF:

  19. Belarus -- EU, EV, EW
  20. Georgia -- 4L
  21. Kazakhstan -- UN, UO, UP, UQ
  22. Moldova -- ER

  24. Russia -- R, UA to UI, 4K
  25. Tadzhikistan -- EY
  26. Turkmeniya -- EZ

  29. Uzbekistan was missing from the list.  There was no indication of
  30. implementation dates nor what would be the status of current call
  31. signs that do not conform to this outline.
