  9. Thanks to Bob, W5KNE; QRZ DX; Tedd, KB8NW; Jose, CO2JA; and Noel,

  12. BELAU.  A multi-op effort by the Kyoto ARC of Japan is slated for
  13. August 8 through 13.  Plans are for CW, SSB, FM and RTTY on 160
  14. through 10 meters.  QSL via JA3OIN.
  15.  
  16. LIBYA.  The first week of June has come and gone with nothing heard.
  17. Have any other PacketCluster users configured a hot key for the
  18. command SH/DX 5A ?
  19.  
  20. MARION ISLAND.  There has been some sporadic operations from ZS8MI
  21. recently.  Spots are few and info is sparse.  QSL via ZS5UND.
  22.  
  23. ALBANIA.  ZA1Z has been quite active this past week on 40, 20 and 17
  24. meter CW around 0200z.  QSL via HB9BGN.
  25.  
  26. NORFOLK ISLAND.  VK9NL can frequently be found generating pile ups
  27. with snappy CW at 0200z near 21025 kHz, QSX up.
  28.  
  29. JF2MBF TOUR OF THE PACIFIC.  Nob, JF2MBF, who operated VR6BB and
  30. VR6JJ with Hiro, JA1SLS, this past winter and spring is now signing
  31. ZK1AJJ from Rarotonga of the southern Cook Islands.  His future
  32. stops will be the northern Cook Islands from June 12 to 25, the
  33. southern Cook Islands from June 26 to 30, and Fiji after that.
  34. Tuvalu is also one of his targets before returning to Japan.  He
  35. operates all popular modes including RTTY on all bands including
  36. OSCAR 13.  QSL for VR6BB and VR6JJ go via JF2KOZ.  QSL AK1AJJ via
  37. JA2TBS.

  39. TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO.  The Trinidad and Tobago Amateur Radio Society,
  40. TTARS, reports June 14 through 20 will be Amateur Radio Awareness
  41. Week.  9Z4SXT will be active from 1400z June 18 through 2200z June
  42. 20.  QSL via WA2NHA.

  44. CUBA.  Jose, CO2JA, adds to last week's bulletin, ARLD029/DX CW29,
  45. that the VHF DXpedition group to operate in the ARRL VHF QSO Party
  46. this weekend will be checking 3818 and 3843 kHz for meteor scatter
  47. schedules in the evenings, and 28885 kHz for 6 meter schedule
  48. coordination.  QSL via CO0FRC, PO Box 6060, La Habana 10600, CUBA.
  49. Please include SAE and sufficient IRCs for return postage.

  51. EARLY IARU CONTEST NEWS.

  53. WV2B will be on from Saint Paul Island signing /CY9 from July 9
  54. through 12.
  55.  
  56. Saint Pierre and Miquelon will be activated by a group of W8s
  57. signing /FP from July 9 through 13 with CW, SSB and RTTY on 160
  58. through 10 meters.  QSL via NU8Z.

  60. THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.
  61. The ARRL VHF QSO Party starts at 1800z and runs for 33 hours.  We
  62. remind you there has been a rule change for Rover entries for this
  63. and other ARRL VHF operating events.  See page 125 in May QST for
  64. details.

  66. The ANARTS Worldwide RTTY Contest, sponsored by the Australian
  67. National Amateur Radio Teleprinter Society, runs from 0000z June 12
  68. through 2400z June 13.  For more information, check page 117 in June
  69. QST.
