  9. ARRL Midwest Division Director Paul Grauer, W0FIR, has resigned from
  10. the ARRL board and as president and director of the ARRL Foundation
  11. for health reasons.  Vice Director Bill McGrannahan, K0ORB, assumes
  12. the office of director.
  13.  
  14. Paul Grauer served as a director for nearly 20 years, from January
  15. 1, 1974.  Immediately prior to that he was vice director for one
  16. term.

  18. "To say that Paul has been an institution in the ARRL," Executive
  19. Vice President David Sumner, K1ZZ, said, "would be an
  20. understatement.  In his more than two decades of service he has
  21. played the role of sensible, conservative patriarch of the ARRL
  22. 'family,"' Sumner said.

  24. Director McGrannahan replaces Mr. Grauer on the Membership Services
  25. Committee; Pacific Division Vice Director Brad Wyatt, K6WR, replaces
  26. Bill McGrannahan as board liaison to the Contest Advisory Committee.
