  9.         PAF Review contains descriptive information about shareware and
  10.         freeware utilities that work with version 2.2 of the Personal
  11.         Ancestral File (PAF).  PAF is published by the Church of Jesus
  12.         Christ of Latter-day Saints and is widely used by genealogical
  13.         researchers to maintain records of their "roots".  Programs are
  14.         described in PAF Review whether they work directly with PAF data
  15.         or indirectly through the GEDCOM files which PAF uses as an
  16.         interface to other genealogical programs.  The programs provide
  17.         new ways of displaying, printing or working with PAF data.

  19.         There are 109 entries in edition 93.4 of PAF Review, up from 101
  20.         in the last edition.  All of the files in PAF Review, except this
  21.         README file and FILE_ID.DIZ, will be created by running the
  22.         program INSTALL.EXE.  If you would like to know why this change
  23.         was made, read the changes section in file PAFRV.DES.

  25.         After running INSTALL.EXE, each file in PAF Review can be
  26.         displayed on your monitor or printed by copying the file to your
  27.         printer as follows:

  29.         To display this file on your monitor, use a program like Buerg's
  30.         LIST, or use the following DOS command:

  32.            TYPE README.PRV | MORE

  34.         To print this file, use the command:

  36.            COPY README.PRV PRN
  37.  
  38.         PLEASE NOTE: Each of the files in PAF Review ends with the page
  39.         eject character to allow unattended printing by using the copy
  40.         command.  If you print with a program that adds an eject at the
  41.         end of each document, such as the DOS PRINT command, you will have
  42.         a blank page between each file.

  47.            README.CHG   A list of the INF (information) and REV (review)
  48.                         files that changed in this edition.  (1 page)
  49.            PAFRV.DES    Gives an overview, suggests how to find the
  50.                         utilities described, solicits your support of
  51.                         quality shareware, tells how you can contribute
  52.                         and help keep PAF Review up to date. (6 pages)
  53.            PAFRV.SUM    A summary of each known PAF utility (12 pages)
  54.            PAFRV.IDX    A category index (1 page)
  55.            AHNDES.INF   A one page description of the utility "AHNDES".

  57.            XLATEGED.INF A one page description of the utility "XLATEGED".
