  3.      For years, everyone thought that the
  4. four-minute mile was a [adjective] dream.
  5. Now every Tom, Dick, and [silly first name]
  6. can run the mile in four minutes due to new
  7. training methods.  Distance runners have to give up
  8. [verb ending in "ing"] and [verb ending in "ing"].
  9. They have to eat plenty of [food] and lots of fresh
  10. [color] vegetables.  Then they must practice.  Every
  11. morning they [verb (present tense)] until they're
  12. exhausted.  Then they take a [adjective]
  13. shower and do two hours of [verb (present tense)]-ups.
  14. This stregnthens their [plural noun].  [name of person in room] 
  15. has run the mile in less than five minutes, but of 
  16. course he (she) was riding on a [vehicle].
