  1. The contents of AREA H (TAS Scripts and Examples) are a FREE and TOTALLY
  2. UNSUPPORTED area of the FlexSoft board. Many of the scripts in this
  3. area have been developed and uploaded by other TAS users. There is no
  4. evaluation or monitoring of the scripts for either accuracy, absence of 
  5. errors or any other characteristic.

  7. Neither FlexSoft, nor Martin Moore, will necessarily answer or reply
  8. to questions regarding any script found in the EXAMPLES.ZIP or Area H
  9. of this BBS. The example scripts are there to illustrate a feature or
  10. to do something specific that some script author (including Martin
  11. Moore) thought was important or relevant to the understanding of how
  12. to do a particular study with TAS. Any questions regarding these
  13. scripts should be resolved by doing your OWN research and
  14. investigation.

  16. If you have a problem with a script downloaded from AREA H, and you
  17. cannot spend the time necessary to resolve the problem yourself, then
  18. DISCARD THE SCRIPT AND DO NOT USE IT. There is nothing that says you
  19. have to use or understand every script or method known. TAS is a very
  20. powerful system, and one of the key features of its power is the
  21. ability for the advanced user to create complex (and sometimes
  22. difficult to understand) scripts.

  24. If you are a new user of TAS,  don't just "try" every script you can
  25. get your hands on, without looking at them or understanding what they
  26. do. Inevitably, one of the scripts doesn't work, possibly because of
  27. a download error, a missing ticker symbol, lack of data, out-of-date
  28. syntax in the script..some problem can occur. This is where you are
  29. on your own.

  31. In order to provide the EXAMPLES section of the board and to keep it
  32. FREE and AVAILABLE for those who want to see what others are doing
  33. and how they are doing it, I must refuse to reply to any questions
  34. regarding scripts produced by anyone other than the person who asks
  35. the question. If you are asking about a script produced by someone
  36. else, you are not doing your own work.
