This program was written to be friendly. At the main menu pick
the method that you wish to search by using the
keys, then
Press Enter key. Now simply type in part of the name that you are
searching for. Scroll to the proper record, then Press Enter key.
To add fresh records, Press Insert key at any search screen. To
delete obsolete records, Press Delete key at any search screen.
To record the new information, Press F2 key. To leave a screen,
Press F7 key.
In the unlikely event this program stops searching properly, simply
delete the file names: [file name].K01 through [file name].K04.
The program will rebuild these key files for you.
If you want to remove all of your data to start from scratch, delete
the files above and [file name].DAT and [file name].MEM. The program
will generate new empty files for you the next time you initiate it.
What is a "Multi-Data" file ?

After 20 years in the business world, I have discovered a leading
cause of stress. I call it brain stuffing. "Brain stuffing is where
you are using your long term memory too many times each day."
The solution is to write down notes, names, and events. But then
you still need to remember where you left the notes. Ugh!
After all of these years I have learned to hate the "Rolo-Dex"
the most. First, where is it? "I thought I saw it around here
somewhere." Second, it is always a mess. "Who pulled out the
card on 'XYZ' company?" Third, "I wish 'XYZ' company would not
change Reps every other month. This card is an inch thick with
white-out."
If all of this sounds familiar, you will love this program.
You will know where your list is at all times. Plus you can search
by Company, Department/Classification and Personnel (First/Last).
Look at the "Business" file for actual ideas.

A "Multi-Data" file is the answer to the limitations imposed by programs
that "store" all of your records in one data file.
Here is an example. Suppose you and your boss are using this program, and
it is your job to keep the data file (with client list) up to date. Most
other programs would make you run two separate copies of their program in
order to maintain two different data files.
With this program, simply Press Ctrl F key, then Press INSERT key. You can
now create and maintain another data file. Your only limit to the number
of data files that you can create is the size of your disk drive.
Now you can have separate lists (files) for Personal Data, Client Data,
Customer Data, and so on.
Now when your boss needs a current client data file, simply make a copy of
your Client.DAT and Client.K01 - Client.K04 files. Your boss won't end up
with your Personal list, and you won't overwrite his or her Personal list.
To locate a record, perform the following steps.
Type in part of the name you are searching for.
When the cyan bar is on the correct name,
Press Enter key.
To Add a record, Press Insert key.
To Delete a record, Press Delete key.
To Copy a record, Press Alt C key.
To perform BATCH entry of new records,
Press Gray colored + key.
To print out a page of the current record,
Press F8 key.

Type in your data in the fields shown. To move
around the screen, use the
keys.
If the mailing address is the same as the street
address, simply leave these fields blank. The
program will fill these fields in for you.
To Save your new data or change, Press F2 key.
To Exit without saving any change, Press F7 key.
