  7.         MyBASE is a very powerful, easy to use, multipurpose database
  8.         system.  You can use it in DOS or Windows to view, edit, sort,
  9.         search, group, filter, replace, copy/paste, merge, print, fax or
  10.         export data in many ways. Both indexing and filter methods are
  11.         provided for searching, grouping, browsing and retrieving data.

  13.         MyBASE also features a fully programmable merge utility. What is
  14.         particularly noteworthy is that, besides allowing you to do the
  15.         standard merging of text and data, commands may be embedded in
  16.         the merge file to control how records and data are processed,
  17.         where the output is sent to, and what external programs to call
  18.         (ex. DOS functions, file viewers, word processors, spreadsheets,
  19.         graphics viewers, FAX software, and so on).

  21.         For example, if you had a database of clients, you could create
  22.         a merge file to send all your clients (or just a small group of
  23.         them) a personalized letter. The merged letter could be sent to
  24.         a printer to obtain a hardcopy, or it could just as easily be
  25.         sent directly to your client, via FAX. If the letter was faxed,
  26.         MyBASE would merge and FAX each letter completely unattended.

  49. Contact management system

  52. contact  management system includes, pre-defined view screens, field
  53. edit templates and field edit validation, default pop-up selection boxes
  54. and sample data. Also included are sample merge programs to print
  55. envelopes, letters, reports, and to send personalized faxes to multiple
  56. destinations.
