  2.      By default AA (AutoAnswer) is OFF (ATS0=0). To turn AA on, ATS0=1.  To

  4. set and SAVE,  ATS0=1&W.  For a PC usually AT&C1&D2 should also be set. For
  5.  
  6. a MAC,  &C0 or &C1 seems OK, but for AA it must be &D0 (not &D2).

  8.      Some  software sends ATA to the modem to tell it to answer,  when  the
  9.  
  10. modem sends 'RING' to the software. If the software does this, then ATS0=0.
  11.  
  12.      When the AA LED is off, it should blink ON for each ring, when the LED
  13.  
  14. is ON, it should blink OFF for each ring.
