  22.     This archive is intended to upgrade your RIPterm software from
  23.     version 1.53.00 to v1.54.00.  It is NOT intended for any version
  24.     other than v1.53.00!  If you attempt to run this patch on a
  25.     version other than v1.53.00 it will fail to process the file(s).

  27.     In this archive you should find the following files:

  29.            PATCH.EXE ---- Program that applies patches
  30.            PATCH.RTP ---- Contains the data/files to be patched
  31.            README.PAT --- This documentation file
  32.  
  33.     To run this patch, simply copy the contents of this .ZIP file
  34.     into your RIPTERM\ subdirectory and type:

  40.     Before executing the PATCH program, you should completely backup
  41.     your RIPterm directory in case of power-loss or some other mishap.
