This file was written for those trying to install a modem
but have no general understanding of what a comport is or
how to identify one. Rather than trying all the comports
in the comm program you are using just run PORTFIND <ENTER>.
The comport your modem is on will be returned to you.
If you are running more than one modem I.E. Internal & External,
The internal modem will have the port returned only, However
if you have only one external connected, PortFind will find it.
The externals are generally on COM2 anyhow. This program was written
mainly for you guys using Internal Modems
Thanx for using PortFind Ver 1.0
=-<DEL KID>-=
PortFind 1.0 was written entirely
in Quick Basic 4.5 By,
Dave Clark & Michael Connell
And alot of Java!!!!!!!!!!!
