  2.                                 BLUELINE EDITOR

  4. The BLUELINE editor is a program you can use to enter your comments, hints,
  5. tips, and descriptions of programs you are submitting.  It works like a text
  6. editor or word processor program.
  7.  
  8. Since this issue of BIG BLUE DISK is stuffed to the brim with programs, there
  9. is not much room for your comments.  Thus, you should prepare your own disk
  10. for feedback.
  11.  
  12. You do this by formatting a disk.  (If you don't know how to format a disk,
  13. consult your DOS manual.)
  14.  
  15. If you wish to move the BLUE LINE editor to your new disk, you can copy the 
  16. following files: 
  17.  
  18.                       BLUELINE.CHN
  19.                       PASRUN.COM
  20.                       RETURN.CHN
  21.             
  22. from BIG BLUE DISK to your disk, using the COPY command in DOS.  (See your DOS 
  23. manual for details on how to use the COPY command.)  Once this is done, you can 
  24. run BLUELINE with your new disk in the drive by typing ^1PASRUN BLUELINE^0.

  26. Once you have written your text to a disk, please send the disk to us:
  27. BIG BLUE DISK, PO BOX 30008, SHREVEPORT, LA 71130-0008.  We will send a brand
  28. new blank disk in return mail to replace the disk you have sent.

  30. The BLUELINE text editor may be used to write and edit other text, such as
  31. letters, memos, shopping lists, programs, etc., just like any word processor.
  32. By the same token, if you have another editor or word processor program that
  33. you like, you can use it to write feedback files for BIG BLUE DISK.  The only
  34. requirements are that it generate standard ASCII text with no funny imbedded
  35. formatting characters or commands; and you should format your text with lines
  36. of no longer than 80 characters.

  38. One final comment:  if you have a comment or complaint that requires immediate
  39. attention, use an old-fashioned paper note.  This will attract our attention
  40. and be handled immediately.  Feedback on disk may not be read for some period 
  41. of time, until we are doing our monthly program reviews.
