  9.    Any time you consider financing a large investment you first have to 
  10. determine the terms that best suit your budget.  If you're buying a car, for 
  11. instance, should you go with a 36-month payment schedule?  Or would a 48-month 
  12. schedule be more practical?  If one dealer offers a special interest rate, but 
  13. undervalues your present vehicle's trade-in value, should you look elsewhere?

  15.    LOAN AMORTIZATION can help you find the answers to your financial questions.
  16. There are four variables that you must consider when looking at a loan: amount 
  17. of loan, number of payments, APR (annual percentage rate), and number of 
  18. payments per year.  If you enter values for three of these variables, LOAN 
  19. AMORTIZATION can find the value for the fourth.  LOAN AMORTIZATION can also 
  20. print an amortization schedule that shows the amount each payment applies to 
  21. principal and interest, the total interest paid, and the current balance.
