  16.        United States  Constitution  at your  fingertips; allowing you to
  17.        review and  learn all of your rights.  As a citizen of the United
  18.        States, you  should  know  the rights granted  to you.  We invite 
  19.        you to  use  For  The People as an educational and research tool, 
  20.        for you and your family.

  49.        disk size (3 1/2" or 5 1/4")  you need and enclose $5.00. We will
  50.        ship you  the latest  available version  shortly upon  receipt of
  51.        your order.

  53.        COPYING THE PROGRAM

  55.        The evaluation copy may be freely copied and distributed to allow
  56.        others to evaluate the program, but you must keep the program and
  57.        all  associated  files intact and unmodified.  You may  charge an
  58.        amount consistent with the cost of the disk  used to  convey  the
  59.        program which must not exceed $10.00. Vendors are advised to read
  60.        the VENDOR.DOC.

  62.        RIGHT OF USAGE PRIOR TO REGISTRATION

  64.        You  may  use  this  program  to  determine  if it is  beneficial

  98.        list. Such  mailing list is  kept within the  company for its own
  99.        use  to  mail  upgrade  notices. You  can be confident that  your  
  100.        name  will  not  be   given  to any other person or organization.  
  101.        As  a registered user, you  will be kept informed via no-pressure 
  102.        upgrade notices as new versions become available.

  104.        COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS

  106.        To use this software you will need, at a minimum, the following:

  108.             1. An IBM XT or compatible (AT or 386 preferable)

  110.             2. At least 512 kilobytes of free RAM
  111.  
  112.             3. One 360 kb 5 1/4" or 720 kb 3 1/2" floppy disk drive.

  114.             4. EGA, VGA or SuperVGA color monitor.
  115.                (Note: Important color coding is lost with monochrome
  116.                 monitors).

  118.             5. DOS 3.3 or above.

  121.        OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES

  123.             1. A mouse is recommended (Microsoft  is preferable).
  124.                However a mouse is not required to use the program.

  126.             2. A  printer  is  necessary  only to print out your

  148.        If you  were  given  an  incomplete disk, you  should  notify the 
  149.        Distributor or person  who  sold (or gave)  you  the disk. If you 
  150.        cannot obtain a new and complete disk, send your name and address  
  151.        with  $5.00 to InfoTek,  50 Lake Road, Woodbury CT 06798. Request 
  152.        an  evaluation copy of For The People  and  specify the disk size. 
  153.        If  you  purchased  the  incomplete   program  from  a  Shareware 
  154.        Distributor,  please advise  us of the  name and  address  of the 
  155.        Distributor, and we will  insure that the Distributor receives  a
  156.        complete disk.

  158.        INSTALLATION 
  159.  
  160.        Begin by logging on to your  hard  drive. Create a directory (for
  161.        simplicity, we will use  the  example "FTP") by  typing  MD  FTP.
  162.        Put  the  floppy  disk  in and  log on to that floppy drive. Type 
  163.        COPY *.* C:\FTP.  Log on to C:\FTP and type GO.  This  will  take  
  164.        you  right  into  the program.  It is possible to run the program  
  165.        from the  floppy, but  this is not  recommended  as it  will  run
  166.        slower.
