OCR: The steering wheel controls the steering mechanism which turns the front wheels in the direction you want to travel. The recommended hand positions on the steering wheel are the ten-to-two or quarter-to-three clock hand positions. Always keep both hands on the wheel, except when you change gear or operate another car control with one hand. The steering wheel is turned with a pull-push two-hand technique. As the steering always tends to follow the eyes, so always look Steer Left Steer Right well ahead down the road. The car shown right is the one you will train in through the following KMSIFN.J modules two to eight. ( It is not recommended to turn the wheel whilst stationary ) Click on the Video buttons to see the pull-push technique in action when turning at Steering a road junction. Video
