  7. This program allows two people to use Windows(TM) and have their own separate
  8. ways of doing things such as colors, physical placement and size of windows,
  9. wallpaper, etc. Another big benefit is that the other person can't screw-up
  10. your screen as easily. For example, my wife even uses a different video dri-
  11. ver because she feels that SVGA-1024 * 768 makes everything TOO small.

  13. CAVEATS:
  14. (1)-This program needs MS-DOS(TM) 6.0 or 6.2 since it uses the CHOICE command.
  15.     If this really ticks you off let me know and I'll write an alternate.
  16.     There are many ways to skin this cat.
  17. (2)-This program requires about 500K of hard disk space.
  18. (3)-It only preserves the "INI" files that are stored in the actual Windows
  19.     subdirectory i.e. if your spouse changes the WordPerfect(TM) set-up file 
  20.     then it will be changed for you also. An alternate program could eliminate 
  21.     this problem but it may have to be taylored to the exact way you have your
  22.     hard drive files arranged. 
  23. (4)-The BIGGEST problem is that if you install a major program after this    
  24.     point which CHANGES the system files-only your system files will be 
  25.     changed. In otherwords you will have to reinstall the program in the
  26.     other user's mode also in order to get their system files to reflect any
  27.     changes. You COULD just copy your "INI" and "GRP" files to their subdi-
  28.     rectory but then they will lose all of personal settings.
  29. (5)-If your Windows subdirectory is not named "windows" you may have trouble
  30.     with the program working correctly. At least temporarily rename it for the
  31.     installation.

  33. INSTALLING:
  34. (1)-Copy all files to your Windows subdirectory.
  35. (2)-Type "install.bat" from that subdirectory. (The ".bat" may be necessary.)
  36. (3)-If you are using a Menu program, you will have to change the executable
  37.     file to "\W.bat"
  38.  
  39. RUNNING:
  40. Type "w" from the root directory. You will have to decide who is the Primary
  41. user and who is the "Secondary" user. If equal users then just mutually de-
  42. cide who is who.
  43.  
  44. UnINSTALLING:
  45. The "program"(really just a batch file) can be uninstalled by typing 
  46. "de2wusrs" from your Windows subdirectory.
  47.

  49. (1)-MS-DOS and Windows are registered trademarks of the Microsoft Corporation. 
  50. (2)-WordPerfect is a registered trademark of the WordPerfect Corporation.
  51. (3)-PKZIP(R) is copywrited by PKWARE Inc.
  52. (4)-This program is Freeware. Feel free(no pun intended) to distribute it in
  53.     anywhere, anytime, on any media. Although, if you appreciate it a small
  54.     donation of a $2 would be nice since I racked my brain on it for several
  55.     hours!
  56. (5)-Use at your own risk. I WILL NOT be responsible for any problems which may 
  57.     arise-especially point #4 under CAVEATS.

  60. This is actually a simple batch file but if you don't have resources to make
  61. any necessary modifications you need such as more users, security protection,
  62. or getting around the CHOICE command-let me know and for a small fee I'll
