  4. What is EarthSun?
  5. ----------------
  6. EarthSun is a MicroSoft Windows 3.x program that displays the current
  7. sunlit-side of the Earth in an icon.  You can specify the icon's title to
  8. display the current time and/or date in *many* different formats, as well
  9. as changing the icon's background color and rotation direction.  EarthSun
  10. even adjusts AUTOMATICALLY for daylight savings/summer time for users in
  11. the United States, the UK, and Europe.

  14. Installing EarthSun
  15. -------------------
  16. Simply use the Program Manager to create a New Program Icon in the group of
  17. your choice and set the "Working Directory" to the subdirectory where you
  18. installed the files.  You may place the EARTHSUN.EXE file in the subdirectory
  19. of your choice, but EarthSun MUST be able to find it's EARTHSUN.INI file.
  20. If it cannot, then the About box will be displayed each and every time you
  21. start the program.  If you have trouble, you may also set the "Working
  22. Directory" to your Windows subdirectory explicitly, or just leave it blank to
  23. have it default to your Windows subdirectory.  See the "Troubleshooting"
  24. section in the on-line help system for more information.

  26. I also recommend placing the Program Icon in the "Startup" group so it loads
  27. every time you start Windows.

  29. If you don't already have the file BWCC.DLL, make SURE you copy it to your
  30. Windows system subdirectory and erase any other older copies of it.  See the
  31. file BWCC.TXT for more information.
