  5.             I guess the first thing that you need to have  onhand
  6.             is  the  Mustang Wildcat! Software to run the program
  7.             after you get everything else set up!   You  have  to
  8.             decide  whether  you  want  to  have just one node or
  9.             phone line or two or more lines or nodes.   Then  you
  10.             need  to  dig  down deep in your pockets and get that
  11.             all set up with  the  phone  company.   There  is  an
  12.             option  in  the Wildcat multi-line program for you to
  13.             have just one line and have the call roll-over  to  a
  14.             second  number  if  you  don't  want to publicize two
  15.             numbers.

  17.             After you decide  whether  you  want  a  single  line
  18.             program  or  a multi-line program you need to contact
  19.             Wildcat either by writing to them  or  calling  them.
  20.             If  you choose to call have a major credit card ready
  21.             to finalize the purchase.  You can write:

  31.             Tell them your situation and ask them  what  kind  of
  32.             program  you should get.  The single line is obvious.
  33.             But there are some options in the multi-line.

  35.             There is a public  Mustang  BBS  that  is  handy  for
  36.             downloading  the  latest  everything from MSI and the
  37.             modem number for that is: (805)873-2400.

  40.             One other thing: if you  plan  on  Multi-tasking  the
  41.             board.   That  is running the board in the background
  42.             while  you  use  the  computer  for  other   programs
  43.             simultaneously,  you  need  to  decide  what  kind of
  44.             multi-tasking program you are going to use.   If  you
  45.             have the right hardware (discussed later) you can use
  46.             either  DesqView or even Windows 3.1.  They both have
  47.             multi-tasking capabilities.   But  depending  on  the
  48.             modem  speed you are using etc. you will have more or
  49.             less success using this option.

  51.             You will of course want to get the latest version  of
  52.             Wildcat!   as of this writing it is version 3.90.  It
  53.             has many exciting features for both the user and  the
  54.             sysop.   And this is the first version to support RIP
  55.             - Remote Imaging Protocol - which means  Wildcat  now
  56.             has  VGA  graphics  and  mouse  support!   A  special
  57.             independent terminal program is needed to receive the
  58.             RIP - either a single  terminal  program  called  RIP
  59.             Term.... or the latest version of QModemPro (1.51). A
  60.             drawing  program  called  RIP  Draw is needed also at
  61.             additional cost  to  make  your  own  customized  RIP
  62.             screens  for  your  board.   A  more  expensive, more
  63.             technical version of this program is  also  available
  64.             called   RIP   PAINT.   You  may  contact  Telegrafix
