What Does WCCALLS v2.00 do?
────────────────────────────
WCCALLS is a WILDCAT! v3.5+ Log Analzyer (Scanner) program which reads up to
a total of 999 log files generated in the form of [ACTIVITY.xxx]. After
reading the activity logs created by WILDCAT!, it will generate an output
using the @-codes used by WILDCAT! which can be used as a HELLO/BULLETIN
screen in your Bulletin Board. The output file lists all callers in
chronological order per node with each node in order, too. Kinda neat huh?
Requirements?
──────────────
There is 1 requirement made for this program. 1) You must make sure that
COMSPEC=C:\DOS\COMMAND.COM or this program will HANG!
Setup?
───────
To setup WCCALLS, you can either place all unarchived files in the WILDCAT!
home directory or create your own. Then edit the configuration file.
WCCALLS.CFG (config file)
-----------
<Bbs Name>
<SysOp's Full Name>
<WILDCAT! HomeDir> (with or without trailing backslash)
<Last Node's Activity Log to Scan>
<YES/NO> (Show LOCAL logins)
<YES/NO> (Show TOTAL Stats)
Afer editting this file, you are now ready to begin the process of scanning
your first <x> activity logs with WCCALLS. If you wish to make modifications
to the output file, you shall by editing 2 files.
WCCALLS.HDR (output header)
-----------
This is created using WILDRAW, WCDRAW, THEDRAW, etc which allows you to make
@-coded WILDCAT! screens. There is no specific length of this file and it
can contain any @-codes that you wish to insert before the output info.
WCCALLS.DAT (color file)
-----------
This is an ASCii file in which around the 21st line it gives you the
description of each individual line of @-coded colors. This file has these
colors read out of it and placed into the output so that you can easily make
the appearance of your BBS either MORE personalized or to a DARKER side.
New Features in WCCALLS 2.x?
─────────────────────────────
■ User ability to change color codes of the output screen
■ User ability to change the default header [WCCALLS.HDR]
■ Lists the login time of user's call
■ Lists all calls in chronological order per node in order
*** (see display below) ***
■ Like we promised! RIP support is now available. [WCCALLS.RIP]
■ Time displayed either 1h12m or 12m or n/a when time equals zero (0)
Command Line Options?
──────────────────────
WCCALLS v2.xx has only 1 (one) required command line parameter that tells
the program what the output filename shall be.
Syntax: WCCALLS.EXE C:\WC30\DISP\HELLOx
Notice there is NO extention. If the program finds the WCCALLS.RIP file
in the current directory, it will create a HELLOx.BBS and HELLOx.RIP.
Otherwise, it shall just create a HELLOx.BBS.
What Does It Look Like?
