  14. Setting up The ON-LINE Catalog is fairly simple, 
  15.  
  16. OLPOS.EXE     Complete Point of Sale System
  17. OLCAT.EXE     BBS Door which interfaces with OLPOS data files.
  18.  
  19. You may send a run time parameter for the .CFG file when running
  20. olcat.exe, ie    olcat.exe c:\bbs\door.sys
  21. This tells olcat where to find Door.sys (gap version)

  23. Sample Door#.bat file:

  25. cd\wc30\door\olcat
  26. olcat.exe c:\wc30\wcwork\node1\door.sys
  27. cd\wc30

  29. If no parameter is sent, olcat.exe will DEFAULT to the path specified 
  30. in OLPOS.EXE,  General Setup - File\Path Options.

  32. Multi node operation is possible, but requires the parameter to specify
  33. the path to door.sys i.e. : olcat.exe c:\wc30\wcwork\node2\door.sys
  34.  
  35. NOTE: THIS DOOR IS NOT YET RATED FOR SIMULTANEOUS MULTIPLE USERS!
  36.       ON A MULTI-NODE SYSTEM DO NOT ALLOW MORE THEN ONE CALLER AT 
  37.       A TIME INTO THIS DOOR. WHILE IT MOST LIKELY WOULD FUNCTION
  38.       SAFELY, IT COULD CORRUPT YOUR DATA FILES OF SAVED QUOTES.

  40. With a conversion program, The ON-LINE Catalog will run on any bbs type,
  41. just convert the existing caller info file into DOOR.SYS (gap version)
  42.  
  43. The ON-LINE Catalog does it's own monitoring of the active comport. 
  44. No need for any watchdog type program.
  45. Standard Comports 1-4 are supported.
