  2. This is a BETA release of Thunderbyte for Windows.
  3.  
  4. In this release TBAVW is no longer just a menu shell, but contains
  5. a real Windows based scanner.
  6.  
  7. The Windows scanner however as a few limitations which will be solved in
  8. the final release. Current limitations of this BETA Windows scanner are:
  9.  
  10. -   The scanner doesn't detect some polymorphic viruses like MtE.
  11. -   Integrity checking (Anti-Vir.Dat) is not yet implemented.
  12. -   Heuristic analysis is not yet implemented.
  13.
