  214.  In the list above the following codes have a special meaning:

  216.  RB = Registration Board (you can register with the Sysop overhere)
  217.  FB = Full beta (and support node)
  218.  FL = Same as FB but also distributes to other FB's
  219.  SB = Single file beta-tester (product mentioned)
  220.  ZQ = Zone head-quarters, will distribute to FL's and FB's
  221.  HQ = Head-quarters
  222.  XX = Special status

  224.  The BBS's above will always have  the most current version of the  DISP
  225.  software available. Also, in some cases, it is possible to request  the
  226.  newest versions with a standard file-request (ask your Sysop). On  most
  227.  of the mentioned BBS's, you  can request the newest version  by Freq'in
  228.  for the 3-letter product-code (MTA) and NEW, so MTANEW, XFDNEW,  QFVNEW
  229.  and so on.

  231.  The actual DISP-HQ  is point 2:281/904.5,  but this is  a closed system
  232.  and can not  be accessed from  the 'outside'). You  CAN address netmail
  233.  to this point though !

  235.  Becomming a beta-tester and/or support-node
  236.  ───────────────────────────────────────────
  237.  If you think that  beta-testing DISP-software (MTA, FileDoor,  QFV, RFW
  238.  and so on) is something for you, then do the following:
  239.  
  240.  Zone 1,2 and 5
  241.  --------------
  242.  - Write  a  LETTER  (NOT  a  netmail/echomail  message) to the  address
  243.    above, telling WHY you want to be beta-tester and/or support-node;
  244.  
  245.  - Tell something about yourself, what  you have done sofar in the  area
  246.    of beta-testing;
  247.  
  248.  - Tell something about your system (hardware, running software);
  249.  
  250.  - Tell me that can work according to the rules mentioned below (*);
  251.  
  252.  - Tell me your node-number;
  253.  
  254.  Netmail/Echomail  messages  that  deal  with  the  question to become a
  255.  support/beta node are (in general) not answered.
  256.  
  257.  You will get a written answer from me. There can be three cases:
  258.  
  259.  - You are accepted;
  260.  
  261.  - Your on the 'waiting' list. I keep the number of testers and
  262.    support-nodes low. When some node whishes to stop the testing and/or
  263.    support, the next one from the list is asked again;
  264.  
  265.  - You are not accepted;
  266.  
  267.  Zone 3,4 and 6

  269.  As above,  but you  can also  send me  a netmail  message (2:281/904 or
  270.  2:281/904.5 under  Rob van.hoeven).  We are  still in  big need of beta
  271.  testers and support nodes in these zones.

  273.  (*) rules for beta-testing/support node follow below:
  274.  
  275.  - You must  come and get  the newest beta-versions  AND release version
  276.    yourself. The  frequency is  depending on  the zone.  In general,  at
  277.    least once a week;
  278.  
  279.  - You must support the DISP-echo;
  280.  
  281.  - You can be a beta-tester  without support but you can't be  a support
  282.    node without being a beta-tester;
  283.  
  284.  - You must agree to a set of  rules that are send to you when the  deal
  285.    is closing;
