C H A P T E R - 1 Overview & Installation
What is WazTree?
Welcome to WazTree. WazTree is a File Management Utility for DOS
with many additional features. You can also run WazTree from
Windows. Its intention is to ease management of directories and
files on your hard disk drive (IBM PC or compatible system).
WazTree is a fairly large program which consists of two files
(WT.EXE & WT.OVL). WazTree also includes two other stand alone
programs (WTMODEM.EXE & WTVOICE.EXE) which are integrated into
WazTree's main menu so they can be called. These two programs
supply telephone communications for WazTree. WazTree is designed
and intended to be used as a desktop accessory. From WazTree you
can launch other programs and provide all your directory
maintenance and DOS uses. WazTree commands are via keyboard or
mouse. It also provides an open ended product which can continue
to have features added. This may not be an ideal guide for you.
If you do not understand something please let me know. Your
comments are more than welcome. Your comments should help improve
both the guide and software.
Installation of WazTree
WazTree is provided with an INSTALL.EXE program to ease
installation. You can install WazTree using INSTALL or just copy
the files into a directory where you would like to store WazTree.
Use the INSTALL.EXE to load WazTree and ensure that you get all the
files needed. INSTALL will automatically create a directory of
your choice where WazTree is to be installed. To use the install
program:
1. Insert your WazTree #1 disk into a floppy drive either A or B.
2. Type INSTALL and press ENTER.
3. Specify the source drive and press ENTER. (INSTALL will
default to where INSTALL was run from.)
4. Specify the destination drive and directory then press ENTER.
(INSTALL will default to C:\WazTree.)
5. WazTree will copy all the files and prompt you for other
diskette if WazTree was distributed on more than one disk.
6. If WazTree is installed successfully, INSTALL will
automatically run WazTree.
NOTE: If you do not wish to use the INSTALL program, copy all
the files except the Install.exe file to a directory. To
run WazTree, go to the directory which has WazTree and
type WT and press ENTER.
Quick Start
Go to the directory where WazTree is (ie. CD\WAZTREE) if WazTree is
not in your path and type WT and press ENTER. It starts up with a
large WazTree logo on the screen. Down in the lower left hand
corner of your screen, you will see a message where WazTree is
reading all the directories and files on the disk. Reading files
is indicated by two small boxes changing in size similar to the
look of a disk drive light. Once all of the files are read, two
windows representing Drive #0 & #1 will appear in a tree display of
the disk. If you have two hard drives (C & D) they will each be on
the screen. If you have one hard drive (C) both #0 and #1 will be
the same. The window with complete border is the active window.
To select other drive press the tab key or select using mouse
(point & click). Along with the tree, the screen will have disk
and memory status displayed at the top of the screen. This status
is displayed and updated constantly while using WazTree. The
status displays the present disk drive, volume label, disk size in
bytes, disk bytes available and free DOS ram with Waztree running.
If you run a program from WazTree the available ram will go up
because Waztree will swap itself to EMS or Disk to provide DOS
memory for the program you wish to run. The second status line is
for checked (√) files in bytes, configure ID (see reconfigure
WazTree) and directory size in bytes. In the Tree Window, you can
use cursor keys or the mouse (left button) to select a directory.
To go a directory select the directory and press ENTER or double
click mouse. Pressing the ESCAPE key or right mouse button will
exit WazTree from the Tree Window. Once you have selected a
directory from the Tree Window, you will be in the Directory
window. Most WazTree commands are available in both Tree and
Directory windows. The Tree window is primarily only used for
selecting directories. To toggle between the Tree and Directory
windows press ENTER in Tree Window and press ESCAPE in Directory
Window. This will allow you to quickly change directories
visually. From the Directory Window you can change disk drives as
well. The available drives will be listed in the Directory pick
list. Starting with V2.00 WazTree supports two drives at same
time. You can toggle between the two drives with TAB or Center
Mouse Button (if you have three button mouse). The quickest way to
get familiar with WazTree is to use it. All the commands are
available in the Help Text. Press F1 to get help. All of the
commands are indexed and explained so you should be able to spend
some time using WazTree to get familiar. Also if you press the
spacebar a pull down menu is available which should ease use and
allow you to browse to learn more.
A program called TEMPLATE.EXE was provided on your distribution
disk(s). If you would like an extended keyboard template with
commands, run this program with your dot matrix printer connected.
To run TEMPLATE type TEMPLATE and press ENTER. Cut out your "cheat
sheet" with scissors and leave it near your keyboard. This will
save you from having to use Help until you get familiar with
commands.
The commands in WazTree have one configure change <F6> which
toggles Alt/Key. Most commands are alpha keys ie. A, C, D etc..
If in ALT mode the alpha command A would be entered Alt/A (press
Alt key and hold then press A). In the KEY mode just press A.
There are advantages to each mode. The advantage of using "ALT"
mode comes when your in the Directory window. Pressing an alpha
key will skip to first file that begins with that alpha key. The
advantage of using "KEY" mode is commands can be executed quicker
without having to press Alt and alpha key. You can toggle this and
WazTree will remember your setting for each session. WazTree
defaults to Alt mode new. The state of Alt/Key it displayed in
upper left corner.
Example ALT mode:
If you had a directory with many files in it and the file you
wanted began with "P" you could press "P" and it would take you to
the first choice beginning with "P" instead of scrolling through
the files. All WazTree commands are issued via Alt/alpha key
combination. Alt/P would pop up printer menu.
KEY mode:
All WazTree commands are issued via alpha key alone. If you were
to press "P" as in the ALT example in Key mode you would get the
Print menu.

spots for the mouse are in directory windows as follows:
Hot spot commands in Directory window
Function Hot spot commands
Check/un-check all files Click on √
View file Click on V
Applications menu Click on APPS
Runs selected file Click on X
The top of each Directory window frame will display the drive, the
present directory, and the file mask. WazTrees default file mask
is *.*. This enables all files to be displayed in the directory.
Also displayed in the Directory window are the available drives.
Care should be taken in selecting drives because if a floppy disk
is not installed in the drive you select, it will give you an error
and will go back to the original directory. To select directories,
in the Directory window, place cursor over directory and press
ENTER or you can use the left mouse button. The Directory window
has two scroll bars around it. This provides easy access no matter
what size or in what area of the Directory window you are in. You
can use the mouse to move around large directories and files by
clicking on the scroll bars. The location of where your at is
displayed in lower left hand corner too.
Special characters:
- In the lower right hand corner, the three dash mark "≡"
special character is for re-sizing the window. If you place
the mouse cursor over that mark, press the left mouse button
and hold and move the mouse so you can change the size of the
window. When you let go of the mouse button, the new size
will be maintained by WazTree. This enables you to change the
size of the window to the size that suits your needs.
- In the upper right hand corner, above the scroll bar arrow,
there is another arrow, clicking on this arrow will zoom and
un-zoom the window. This enables you to open the window to
its maximum allowable size, which is controlled by WazTree.
It is restricted such that the top two and the bottom two
lines are reserved for status and control information. When
it is in the zoom position you will get a small up/down arrow
in that spot and when you click it again will return to single
up arrow. The zoom function can also be achieved by pressing
the F9 key. Another way of changing the size of the
tree/directory is via the main menu option. There is re-size
directory/tree and relocate directory/tree. Selecting these
will enable you to change the size and location without a
mouse. This is done using the cursor keys.
C H A P T E R - 2 File/Directory Maintenance Commands
Drive space available
Command: A, ALT A or via main menu
The drives available command will provide you with a disk drive
status and available space on each drive (A-Z) with total available
attached to system. This is an overview of all disks attached to
the system and can be useful to quickly determine what is out there
for you.
Copy file(s)
Command: C, ALT C or via main menu
To copy a file, using WazTree, place the cursor over the file that
you wish to copy by using the cursor keys or the mouse. To copy,
press command. At the bottom left hand side of the screen, there
will be a message "Copy to ?". Type in the disk drive and the path
you wish to have that file copied to.
Note: WazTree will remember destination path for future use in
each session.
If the directory that you are copying to does not exist, you will
get a message asking if you would like to make a new directory. If
you select "Yes" WazTree will attempt to make that new directory
and copy your requested file to it. If you select "No" or "Esc" it
will abort the operation. If the file exists in the directory of
which you are copying to, you will get a message asking if you want
to overwrite the existing file. At the bottom of the screen there
will be a display with an asterisk next to it, the file you are
about to overwrite and just above it will be the file written. You
can copy multiple files by marking the files you wish to copy.
This is done with the keyboard using the / key. Pressing / will
place a check mark √ next to the file or clicking on file with
mouse. WazTree automatically increments to the next file when this
function is used. When using the mouse, click on the file to get
the check mark. If you wish to check all files in the present
directory, press the asterisk key * or click on the check mark in
the lower left hand corner of the Directory frame with the mouse.
Using any of the check commands will toggle the present state.
Example: If all files were checked, using the all check function
(*, Click √) again will simply un-check all the files.
Checking a checked file will un-check it.
If you have multiple files selected and you select the copy
function, WazTree will ask if you want to automatically overwrite
existing files without prompt to ask whether you want to overwrite
or not. Answering "Yes" will allow WazTree to automatically
overwrite any existing files by the same name without asking your
permission. Use this only when you are very confident and want to
save time. Answering "No" will copy all files and stopping at any
file that exist by the same name in that directory asking if you
want to overwrite. The copy function will indicate errors if there
are problems reading or writing file(s). These errors will be
displayed at the bottom of the screen. You also have a
configuration option which can effect the speed of copying. The
option will allow WazTree to skip over copying and file that has
the same name, size and date/time. This is turned on by default.
See reconfigure for more information on WazTree configuration.
From the Tree window if you select Copy command Waztree will go to
that directory and check off all files preparing to copy entire
directory.
Move file(s)
Command: M, ALT M or via main menu
You can move single and multiple files the same way you do with the
copy command. See Copy File(s).
Delete file(s) or directory
Command: D, ALT D, DEL or via main menu
FILE To delete a file, using WazTree, place the cursor over
the file that you wish to delete by moving the cursor
keys or the mouse. To delete, press command.
DIRECTORY To delete an empty directory, using WazTree, place the
cursor over the empty directory that you wish to delete
by moving the cursor keys or the mouse. To delete, press
command.
You can do multiple file deletes. Multiple files are selected with
check command /, * or with mouse click on file or √ in Directory
window (see check command). This is similar to using the copy and
move commands. Use caution with multiple deletes when using the
automatic delete versus prompting on each deletion and having user
confirm delete. You can not delete multiple directories.
Note: When directories are deleted, the tree window is not
automatically updated. If you wish to update the tree
window use Tree Drive command T. The new directory will
be displayed automatically in Directory window which is
constantly updated.
DEL acts only on one file at a time regardless how many are √
checked. It is provided so if multiple files are √ checked and you
want to delete just one DEL will delete one without going through
all √ checked files.
Make Directory
Command: \ or via main menu
To make a new directory press command and WazTree will ask for the
disk and complete path name for directory.
Example: "C:\NEWDIR" will attempt to create a sub-directory
"NEWDIR" on the C: drive.
If WazTree can not create the new directory it will display a quick
message to the bottom of the screen indicating the failure to
create the directory. Errors are typically illegal name or
directory already exists. WazTree does not report specific reasons
for error.
Note: When new directories are created the tree window is
automatically updated if in tree window of drive this
will take some time. If you create a directory in the
directory window and toggle to tree window it will not be
updated until you issue T command.
Volume label change
Command: V, ALT V or main menu
You can change the volume label of the current directory drive by
pressing command and entering a new volume name. The current
volume label and serial number will be displayed above edit field
for reference.
Note: DOS allows eleven character label but does not use the
following characters: * ? / \ | . , ; : + = [ ] ( ) &
^ < > "
Sort files
Command: S, ALT S or via main menu
To sort the files in the Directory window, press command. When you
select sort, a message will come up at the bottom of the screen.
It will ask you how you want the directory sorted. Press first
letter of choice or click on choice. WazTree provides five
different sorts: Name, Size, Date, DOS mode, and Extension.
Sorting by name will sort all the files by their names
alphabetically. Sorting by size will sort all files by size from
smallest to largest. Sorting by date will sort all files from
oldest to newest. Sorting by extension will sort all files in the
directory by their extension alphabetically. Sorting by DOS will
sort the same way DOS sorts files. WazTree defaults to sort by
name.
Rename file/directory
Command: R, ALT R or via main menu
To rename a file or directory, place cursor over file or directory
you wish to rename and press command. This command will put the
original name of the file you selected just over the edit field for
the new name. Once you have modified the new name, press "Enter"
and the new name will appear in Directory window.
Note: When new names are created the tree window is
automatically updated if in tree window of drive this
will take some time. If you rename a directory in
directory window and toggle to tree window it will not be
updated until you issue T command.
File date and attribute change
Command: N, ALT N or via main menu
To modify the attribute and date place the cursor over the file and
press command. This will bring up the date and time stamp along
with the current attributes at the bottom of screen. You will see
the name of the file, its original date, time and attributes. Just
below it, next to the word "new stamp", is an edit field which you
can edit the date, time, and attribute. Press ENTER after editing
field modifies the date and attribute. Press the ESCAPE key to
abort. Attributes are entered by pressing the letters "R, A, S,
and H" for DOS Read only, Archive, System, and Hidden file
attributes. These are the last four characters in the edit field.
They can be typed in any order.
Example: R, A, S, H will set all attributes or type in H, S, A, R
will give the same results.
If you want to remove all attributes, simply type spaces or periods
in the attribute area of the edit field.
NOTE: It is not recommended to just randomly change attributes.
They have a purpose understand this before playing around
with this command. See DOS reference.
Search for file
Command: F7 or via main menu
To enter the search mode, press F7 key or click on main menu
option/search. First you need to select a drive to search. Then
at the bottom of the screen, there will be a prompt enter your
search request.
Examples:
*.* will search for all files on the disk.
*.exe will search for all files with the extension exe.
b???????.* will search for all files beginning with b.
After you enter search and press "Enter":
1. It will ask you if you want to pause after every match.
2. The next prompt will ask you if you want to save all the
matched files in a text file (default is current
drive:\search.txt) Search.txt. If you answer "Yes", you would
need to type in the disk drive, path, and the name of the file
that you wish to create.
WazTree will do a search loading all files the on the disk and then
displaying on the screen all of the matches as it is looking
through each directory. At the end of the search mode, it will
display how many times the search was matched and found. If you
had requested all files to be saved in a text file, that text file
will now have all the matches listed in that file.
View file(s) (ascii, ansi, gif, zip & lzh)
Command: ENTER, click "V" spot or via main menu
WazTree provides five file viewers (ASCII/TEXT, ANSI, GIF, ZIP &
LZH). To view a file, move the cursor over to the file you wish to
view and press enter command. WazTree will automatically check if
it is an ANSI, GIF, ZIP or LZH type file. If it is it will display
them to the screen. If ANSI, GIF, ZIP and LZH are not detected
then WazTree will display as Text file. Once in the TEXT view
mode, your screen will show the text file at the first page.
Displayed at the top of the screen is file name, line number, and
column. WazTree has provided scroll bars to the right and bottom
of display, so that with a mouse you can quickly move around in the
view mode of the file easily. Press and hold on scroll arrows to
scroll through file or click on section of scroll bar to jump to
that part of file. Pressing "ENTER", "ESC", or the "Right mouse
button" will exit the View mode. WazTree automatically increments
to the next file in that directory when you exit View mode. This
feature was provided so that you could quickly, pressing the
"ENTER" key, increment multiple files in a directory quickly
viewing each one. This works for ANSI, GIF, ZIP and LZH files as
well.

Applications Menu
Command: F4 or click on "APPS" in Directory window frames
The APPS Menu is the list of your commonly run programs which you
have configured WazTree to use. WazTree has forty user programs
for this menu which you set up yourself using the F2 (edit) or F7
(browse) commands from Application menu. Do not run TSR (memory
resident) programs from WazTree via this menu, F5 or the X command.
Always load TSR's before using WazTree. The application menu
provides forty programs with a twenty character description field
for each which will be displayed in menu. The application menu has
a local Copy command which allows you to copy one of the forty Apps
and place it in another location. This may be useful if you have
some similar application that you want to set up quickly. Even
though WazTree provides forty applications it is not limited to
only forty! Using the local Save and Retrieve commands allows you
to swap in and out different sets of forty applications.
Print text files & adjust printer
Command: P, ALT P, F3 or via main menu
To print an ASCII text file from WazTree, place the cursor over the
file you wish to print and press command. When you select print,
you will get a print menu which has eight functions.
Four of them are for controlling the printer:
1. Fonts Selection (20 to choose from for dot matrix printers)
2. Line Feed (forward paper one line)
3. Form Feed (forward paper one page)
4. Reset (Which is a hard reset to the printer, power on default)
If you select the font selection, it will provide another
window of which there are multiple fonts selections (05, 10,
12, 17, and 20 pitch) in either draft, bold, italic, or bold
italic modes. This provides the dot matrix user with easy way
to change fonts on their printer remotely. Using the cursor
key or the mouse, select the font you wish.
5. Header
Selecting the Header enables you to type in custom Header that
will be printed on each page of the text file you print from
"Go Print" choice. This header will be used if you select the
option to print the Header. Once you have typed in the
Header, WazTree will remember this header.
6. Go Print
Once the printer is set, select "go print". First WazTree
will ask if you want to include the Header at the top of each
page. It will display the current Header at the bottom of the
screen. It will next ask if you want to include page numbers
at the bottom of each page. Then it will ask if you want five
space left margin added. Upon completion of this, WazTree
will go and print the selected file provided the printer is on
line.
7. Print Raw
Once the printer is set, select "Print Raw". First WazTree
will ask how many lines per page (0 for no form feeds). Upon
completion of this, WazTree will go and print the selected
file provided the printer is on line.
8. Print Label
This choice provides a way to print 3½" x 15/16" x 1" sprocket
fed labels. The option allows you to enter one line (16
characters) which prints in 5 char/in., four lines (40
characters) in 12 char/in.
Go to DOS
Command: F5 or via main menu
WazTree will try to make as much memory available to use in this
mode by swapping WazTree to EMS or to disk and run COMMAND.COM and
put you at a DOS prompt. To return to WazTree from DOS, you must
type "Exit" at the DOS prompt. The "X" command will act the same
as this if a executable file is selected.
Note: Some applications you run may require you to increase the
FILES statement in your config.sys file because WazTree
will have opened files used when you are in DOS. If an
application will not run try increasing your number of
files, reboot system and try again. Do not run TSR
(memory resident) software. Always load TSR's before
using WazTree.
C H A P T E R - 4 Miscellaneous commands
Run a program (.COM, .EXE, .BAT)
Command: X, ALT X, click X or via main menu
To execute another program from WazTree select a .BAT, .COM or .EXE
file and press command. If WazTree can run this program, it will
write WazTree itself to expanded memory or disk if not enough
memory available. If there is not enough space on disk it will
simply abort the operation. You will get a message on the screen
while this happening showing that WazTree is being swapped out to
memory. When you exit the program, it will return to WazTree in
the same directory that you had left. If you select a
non-executable file, WazTree will run Command.Com (see Chapter 3
"Go to DOS").
Note: Use this command to determine what programs will run
properly under WazTree before adding them to your App
Menu. Do not run TSR (memory resident) software. Always
load TSR's before using WazTree.
File mask change
Command: F, ALT F or via main menu
WazTree defaults to *.* file mask so all files are displayed. You
can change the default file mask by entering command and typing new
file mask. Drive #0 and Drive #1 have their own file masks which
are stored by WazTree from session to another.
Examples:
*.EXE <- will display only the .exe files in all of your
directories.
B???????.* <- will display only files that begin with B.
Screen clear and hold
Command: H, ALT H or via main menu
This is a screen saver for WazTree when not in use. It will clear
the screen and put date and running time at bottom of screen until
key or mouse is pressed.
Tree drive
Command: T, ALT T or via main menu
This command is provided to re-scan or log current disk drive. It
is only useful when you want to update the tree window. When you
rename, delete or add directories in directory window the tree
window is not updated, using this command will update the tree
window. The other use is if you log onto another drive from your
Directory window and want to change the tree window to that drive.
Note: If you select a new drive in directory window then press
escape key WazTree will log new drive tree in tree
window.
File display
Command: Z, ALT Z or via main menu
File display is only a toggle so that the Directory window will
display either file name and extension only or file name,
extension, size, attribute, date, time, and day. When you select
the full display mode, you might want to zoom (see adjusting window
size) the window so you can see the entire contents. In the Tree
window it toggles a drawn tree and complete path display.
Screen mode
Command: F10 or via main menu
If you have an EGA or VGA display, you can toggle between two Video
Modes, 25 line or 43(EGA) or 50(VGA line screens). WazTree
defaults to the 25 line mode on start up. To change modes press
command. This command will do nothing on non Ega/Vga displays.
Adjust window sizes and location
Command: F9, via main menu Re-size, Relocate or via hot spots
You can adjust the size of the windows in WazTree easily via mouse
click and drag. Both the Tree and Directory Windows can have their
size and location changed.
ZOOM Press F9 or click on the upper right hand corner (small
up arrow), it will toggle from maximum to last adjusted
size. When zoomed the top right hand corner will display
a small up/down arrow.
RESIZE Click on ≡ (lower right corner) and drag mouse or select
re-size via main menu will allow you to adjust size of
window in small increments.
RELOCATE Click on top of window frame and drag or select relocate
via main menu will allow you to move window around the
screen. It is easier to make these adjustments using a
mouse, the keyboard method is provided for those without
a mouse.
Set hot KEY or ALT key
Command: F6, via main menu
WazTree defaults to the ALT mode which means all alpha key commands
are executed via ALT/ALPHA KEY instead of just the ALPHA KEY. This
provides all the alpha keys for quickly moving around a directory.
In the default ALT mode you can press an alpha key to bring you to
the first file that begins with that letter. An example is if you
had a directory with many files in it and the file you wanted began
with "P" you could press P instead of scrolling through the files.
Using the ALT mode requires all commands be entered as ALT/ALPHA if
you select KEY mode then just pressing the alpha key by itself will
execute command. The state of this mode is displayed in upper left
hand corner at all times.
Help
Command: F1, via main menu
Help is available from Tree window, Directory window, App menu,
Main menu, Editor and File Viewer. It will pop on top of where you
are and provide and index so you can quickly go to the help you
want. There are highlighted words in some help screens that will
take you right to another screen without returning to index. It is
mouse supported and should answer most of your questions about
WazTree while using it. Its frame can also be moved and re-sized.
Check √ command
Single Command: /, click file Multiple: *, click √
This is the command to use when using multiple file commands such
as Copy, Delete, Move, View and change Attr/date. When you use
this command it will place a √ check mark next to the file. The
checks are removed when executing a multi file command, when you
select another directory or by executing the command which will un-
check each file as it progresses.
C H A P T E R - 5 Re-configuring WazTree
Re-Configure
Command: CTRL Z or via main menu
WazTree provides reconfiguration ability. WazTree stores the
following:
- User ID
- Forty application programs and names
- Colors
- Window sizes
- Alt or Key mode
- File mask for drive #0 & #1
- Display formats directory and tree
- Copy/Move destination path
- Unzip destination path
- Print header
- Path for editor (blank for WazTree editor)
- Path for modem program (blank for WTMODEM)
- Path for dial program (blank for WTVOICE)
- Path for .Zip compress program
- Path for .Zip decompress program
- Path for .Lzh compress/decompress program
- Display mode 25 or 43/50 line
- Pause after running programs
- Maximum directories allowed
- Pause before quitting WazTree
- Printer LPT1, 2 or 3
- Skip copy/move if same name, size and time.
- Application menu on start up
After you use this command WazTree will be permanently changed but
you can change it as many times as you like. When you enter
reconfiguration, the first item that comes up is the name ID. The
current one will be on the edit line. You can edit this to
anything you want up to 40 characters long. This particular ID
will be at the top of the screen and the calendar print header.
After you have edited this line, press "ENTER" to select it or ESC
to escape reconfiguration all together. You will then step through
other configured items editor, modem, voice, pause after program
and pause on WazTree exit. Configuration of application menu is
done at the application menu. This is to provide those programs
that you commonly could launch from WazTree. This bundles your
most commonly used programs into a menu. Use F7 from Application
menu to browse for program. Use F2 to just edit menu item. If
program has arguments add them to the edit line.
Example: "command line" -> C:\DOS\EDIT.EXE TEXT.TXT
"menu item" -> MY TEXT FILE
Now your programs are available from App menu. Test them and
reconfigure them if you had any typo's. When you select App menu,
the forty user programs will appear in a menu with a hot key. The
first letter in your name is the hot key. Then using the cursor
keys or the mouse, you can select one of the programs or click on
it with mouse.
CAUTION: User configuration programs should not include TSR or
memory resident type software. Memory resident type
software should be loaded prior to loading WazTree.
Maximum directories
This option which is stored by Waztree is provided if memory
becomes and issue or if you want to limit Waztree to how many
directories it will attempt to store in Tree window. The
default is 500 for each drive #0 & #1. You can change the
default by selecting Max directories in Main Menu/Configure.
When selected Waztree will total up each drive and display
actual and allow you to change quantity.
