ARRCOPY2 Documentation
ARRCOPY is distributed as shareware. If you find this program of
use please register it by sending $15.00 (US funds, foreign orders
add $1 for postage and handling) to:
Perry Martin
237 Collins Road
Vestal, NY 13850-6006
Please indicate diskette format (360K - 5.25", 720K - 3.5", 1.44M 3.5")
with your order. If there is no preference, I will send 720K, 3.5".
Also, please distribute this program to your favorite BBSs, friends
and networks. After all, it is my livelihood.
By registering, you will receive the latest version of ARCCOPY.
The registered version includes:
* Number of files only limited by memory, instead of 255
* Ability to create a default file with all options
* Set up file groupings to go on a single diskette
* Diskette labeling
* Erasure of pre-existing files on diskette
* Full path specification of files to be copied
* Notification of next release and a free upgrade
Shareware is a wonderful way to try new programs to find those few that
aid us in our normal activities. We collect files from BBSs until our
hard drive begins to fill up. Then we save these files to diskette to
clear some space. Most of us have spent untold hours figuring out which
files will pack a diskette most efficiently to minimize the wasted space.
ARCCOPY does the job for you with a cost less than 3 hours of minimum labor.
ARCCOPY will identify all files in the default directory with the given
extensions and copy them to the chosen diskette with a minimum of wasted
space. This saves you the time of choosing a group of files. It also
saves money and space in less diskettes used.
ARCCOPY is completely menu driven for ease of use with menus provided
by Window Boss and is written using Borland C.
Bugs Fixed:
* I had accidentally bypassed using the entered diskette drive and
always used the 'a' drive. This is fixed.
