  1. The following is a list of software designed and written by Kevin Cummins
  2. of Crimson Cross BBS:

  5. DIR2SF  (DIR2SFxx.ZIP)
  6.         Convert program to convert PCB Dir1, Dir2, Dir3, etc. file listing
  7.         commonly found on CD-ROM disks to the Spitfire one-line format.
  8.         Sets these up for your SF file base, or for use with a door program
  9.         such as SF-ROM.

  11. FI2SF   (FI2SFxx.ZIP)
  12.         Convert program to convert FILES.BBS directory listings to the
  13.         one-line Spitfire format. This utility is designed to handle those
  14.         listings that DO NOT have file sizes or dates, and inserts such at
  15.         run time.
  16.  
  17. NETSTAT (NSTATxx.ZIP)
  18.         Bulletin Generator for Sysops that echo Netmail. This utility lists
  19.         the date & time of the last successful mail run, and also includes
  20.         the number of messages imported and exported on each run. The
  21.         current version (1.1) supports Postlink, PcRelay, Jnet, Tnet. Can
  22.         also be used with others in a generic mode.

  24. SPITSTAT (SPITSTxx.ZIP)
  25.         Spitfire-specific Statistical Bulletin Generator that creates
  26.         general system usage bulletins for your SF BBS. Supports up to
  27.         19,200 connections, door usage, etc.

  29. LOTABULL (LBULLxx.ZIP)
  30.         Statistical Bulletin Generator that can be use for many purposes,
  31.         with virtually any BBS software. Can do reports such as general
  32.         system usage, door usage, message conference reports, etc. A
  33.         configuration utility is also included for easy setup.

  35. DSADJ    (DSADJxx.ZIP)
  36.         A utility designed to adjust security level temporarily for doors
  37.         that use DOOR.SYS. This was written as a special purpose utility to
  38.         allow certain users access into certain message conferences thru
  39.         the JETMAIL door, but can be used anywhere temporary security level
  40.         adjustment would be an alternative to revamping or adding
  41.         additional security levels on your BBS.

  43. FILESTAT (FS-xx.ZIP)
  44.         Another Spitfire-specific utility designed to add a line
  45.         to file descriptions like:

  47.             *Files:  7  Oldest-02/28/93  Newest-02/28/93
  48.  
  49.         It 'peeks' inside ZIP or ARJ files, extracts file dates, total
  50.         number of files, and appends this information to the end of
  51.         descriptions in your SFFILES.BBS files. Also includes a utility to
  52.         remove itself (or other appended information by other utilities).

  54. SFCOOF (SFCOOFxx.ZIP)
  55.         A companion utility to the FILESTAT program listed above. It uses
  56.         the information generated by FILESTAT to allow you to 'Clean Out
  57.         Old Files' from your file areas. You specify how old the files must
  58.         be in order to be 'Cleaned Out'. The date you specify is compared
  59.         against the NEWEST date in the archive (NOT the archive's date
  60.         itself!) Files are either Moved or Deleted, depending on your
  61.         preference.

  63. SFOFP (SFOFPxx.ZIP)
  64.         This utility does the same thing as SFCOOF listed above, but where
  65.         SFCOOF requires you to have used the FILESTAT utility above SFOFP
  66.         does not. It will therefore be slower than SFCOOF, since it also
  67.         has to perform the operations of FILESTAT to determine the internal
  68.         file dates. This utility DOES NOT write file information to your
  69.         SFFILES.BBS as FILESTAT does. Its only purpose is file area purging
  70.         based on the NEWEST file date in your ZIP/ARJ files. It compares
  71.         that date with one you specify at runtime, and either moves or
  72.         deletes that file based on that comparison.

  74. GOODRUN  (GOODRUN.ZIP)
  75.         Returns 3 different error levels, based on file size of a specified
  76.         file. This was designed to be used on mail runs to be able to
  77.         distinguish between 'successful' runs, *barely* 'successful' runs,
  78.         or failed runs, and pass errorlevel to allow branching in the run
  79.         batch file. The intent here was to keep your mail run bulletins
  80.         from updating if there wasnt sufficient message flow. I don't
  81.         consider importing 1 message successful when you normally would
  82.         import 500, do you? This utility is uncluded in the NETSTAT
  83.         package. This program has numerous other
  84.         possiblities.

  86. PAGETOGL (PAGETOGL.ZIP)
  87.         Spitfire-specific utility to toggle the Page feature on & off at
  88.         scheduled times through your system events.

  90. RIPCHECK (RIPCHECK.ZIP)
  91.         Spitfire 3.4 utility, that checks SFDOORS.DAT for RIP graphics mode
  92.         and updates the DOOR.SYS file, line 20, accordingly.
  93.  
  94. SFBBLTRV (SFBBLTRV.ZIP)
  95.          Bible Trivia door in the traditional Spitfire format, written in
  96.          conjunction with Buffalo Creek Software. Has a 1000 question
  97.          database.
