Version 2.08
~~~~~~~~~~~~
---------------
Jan 94
I've added a change to DFEXPORT which helps when connected to more than
one mail network (i.e. Fidonet, Taconet etc.)
DFEXPORT will NOT export conferences marked to be exported to
Net 255 Node 255.
This means you can create 1 DFCFG.??? to import from ALL mail
networks, and have a seperate DFCFG.??? to export to each mail
network with unique zone:net/node numbers and origin lines.
---------------
Fixed DFDECOMP exiting after copying .PKT files from the current
directory.
Added copying routine when decompressing .LZH files - same
procedure as when using SEA's ARC.EXE.
Fixed command parameter passing to compression programs.
Added Option for .ARJ compression/decompression.
DFCONFIG defaults to LHA.EXE rather than LHARC.EXE.
Fixed DFIMPORT to import true 128 byte lines :
29633 byte .PKT imported
.DAT size after import (old) 77184
.DAT size after import (now) 21888
New Feature - 'Auto Area Adding' - If an unconfigured area is recieved
and 'Unknown message areas will be automatically added' is selected,
DFIMPORT will automatically add this area to your CURRENT DFCFG.??? file,
will add a new Spitfire conference by updating your SPITFIRE SFMCONF.DAT file(s), and import the messages to this new area.
For multi-node systems, up to 10 system directories can be specified.
For this to work correctly, at least 1 system directory *must* be specified
via the new menu option 5 in DFCONFIG.
When a new area is added, a line informing you of this is appended to
DFIMPORT.LOG *regardless* of whether or not you have specified the L
command line parameter.
*NOTE* As mentioned above, DFIMPORT will only add the area to the DFCFG.???
file it is using at the time of import - It is your responsibility to
ammend other DFCFG.??? files as appropriate.
