  1.                          A short look at .WAV's
  2.  
  3. .WAV's can made made from television and tapes and CD's and generally any
  4. media compatible. But aside from the occasional 'maniacal laugh' or belch or
  5. other well known obscene bodily functions, nobody has really made any files
  6. which contain any interesting and/or original compositions. This is an attempt
  7. using Multimedia technology to bridge the gap between man's ability to create
  8. sound using artificial means, and using what we already possess.

  10.                          A short look at phlegm
  11.  
  12. God I love phlegm. To me there is no other bodily fluid with the flexibility
  13. of phlegm. You may say - look, phlegm isn't a fluid! Phlegm is just a combin-
  14. ation of saliva and mucus.mucous? mukus? snot, right? Well I already know this
  15. and that is why I think it has so many possibilities. It isn't saliva or snot,
  16. it's the perfect composition of both! It basically proves the existense of God
  17. because only he would see a use for this stuff. There are about 3 compositions
  18. using this stuff, or what I percieve to be this stuff (like I can tell), and
  19. they all have somewhat subtle musical qualities. Enjoy.

  21.                  How I did it-if you really want to know.

  23. Multimedia for windows is an interesting although many times frustrating
  24. program. It has many uses, but many of them require other devices. For this
  25. series I used an extremely sensitive microphone which is smaller than your
  26. thumb (providing your thumb is larger than 1 by 3 cm). Yes, to answer your
  27. question, at one or two points I had to stick the stupid thing in my mouth,
  28. but you see - it's mine so I don't really care if my germs are on it (if you
  29. are using a family keyboard or something, think about how many germs are on
  30. IT! Eh?). Then using the ingenius waveform editor I create these individual
  31. files. I think the sample rate is 8, I could be wrong. If you have any prob-
  32. lems, ask somebody else because it beats me. Thank you.
