  1. The New Testament for Windows (Version 1.6) features the 
  2. complete King James text of the New Testament in an intuitive, 
  3. easy-to-use, 3-D graphical user interface.  It includes a 
  4. powerful text search, color maps, timeline, personal notes 
  5. linked to the corresponding Scripture, tutorial, context-
  6. sensitive help, and study-aids with topical hypertext links 
  7. to events, parables and miracles in the life of Christ.

  11. To install, simply insert the floppy disk (#1) in your drive and 
  12. go to the Windows Program Manager menu and click on File, and then 
  13. Run, and type a:\setup (or b:\setup) and follow the instructions.

  15. If you are still using Windows 3.0, you must copy the file named 
  16. DDEML.DLL (located on this disk or the last disk if this is a 
  17. multi-disk set) to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory before you run 
  18. setup.

  20. If you have problems with the installation, make sure that the 
  21. Windows Program Manager is the only program running.  To check
  22. which programs are running press the Ctrl-Esc keys to bring up
  23. the Task List.  If any other programs are running, select them
  24. and click on "End Task".

  26. The BBS version of this program is shipped as a ZIP file and
  27. does not contain VBRUN300.DLL.  It is assumed that the user
  28. already has this file installed in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM or can
  29. download this file from the BBS.  This file must be on the
  30. users computer before attempting to install the New Testament.

  34. If you have to break up the installation files onto three
  35. 360K disks, use the following list to place the files on
  36. the appropriate disk.  The setup program will then recognize
  37. that this is a 3 disk installation.
