  3.           ECMEMO.ZIP  A functional Shareware application program.
  4.  
  5.           Contains EC Memorial Print, a funeral home/church memorial
  6.           folder, prayer card or bulletin printing application.

  16.           This material is released for distribution as 'Shareware'.
  17.           It is not, however, Public Domain or 'Freeware'.  Users
  18.           may register this program within a reasonable time and
  19.           convert it to a registered user version.

  21.           ECMEMO.ZIP may be placed on BBS and in shareware collections
  22.           provided it is complete and unaltered.  No added charge may
  23.           be made for it, other than a nominal distribution fee or the
  24.           registration fee paid to the author.

  26.           The registered user version may not be distributed.

  30.           Hardware Requirements:
  31.           ----------------------
  32.           DOS computer system, XT, AT or PS/n (286+ preferred)
  33.           EGA/VGA monitor (needed if using 'Page Preview')
  34.           HP Laserjet 3, 4L, 4, 2P, 2D or PCL4/5 clone.
  35.           5MB+ free on hard drive
  36.           640KB RAM (with maximum available free)

  38.           To Install Program:
  39.           -------------------
  40.           Automated install method:
  41.  
  42.           Type the command:   INSTALL X:
  43.  
  44.           This will run a batch file to perform these steps.
  45.           X: represents the drive you want to install program on,
  46.           substitute actual drive letter, with the colon(:), ie.
  47.           INSTALL C: or INSTALL D:.  PKUNZIP V1.1 or later must be
  48.           available on your system to use this method.

  50.           After installation, To Start Program:
  51.  
  52.           In the \MEMORIAL directory type the command:
  53.  
  54.               MEMORIAL
  55.  
  56.           After starting program, goto 'System Setup' to set some
  57.           system defaults and specify if an EGA or VGA video monitor
  58.           is used, if neither installed select 'None'.
  59.  
  60.           Manual method:
  61.           --------------
  62.           Create a directory, \MEMORIAL on the drive you wish to
  63.           use.  Copy MEMORIAL.ZIP to this directory.  Change to that
  64.           directory and unzip the archive file, MEMORIAL.ZIP.  To
  65.           unarchive the file use Pkunzip V1.1 or later.  Use the
  66.           option that creates stored directories within MEMORIAL.ZIP
  67.           (-d in ver. 1.1).  The INSTALL.BAT contains this command
  68.           (PKUNZIP -d MEMORIAL).  This will create 2
  69.           sub-directories, \MEMORIAL\DATA and \MEMORIAL\FONTS, and
  70.           copy files into each directory as well as into \MEMORIAL.

  72.           IMPORTANT: >> Use the -d OPTION !!!  Or the data files will
  73.           be in the wrong place and program will not be able to find them.

  78.           To Print Documentation:

  81.           AFTER installing program - go to the \MEMORIAL directory

  83.           Load printer with 38+ sheets paper, place on-line and enter the
  84.           command:
  85.                         MANUAL
  86.  
  87.           This extracts ECMEMO.DOC and copies ECMEMO.DOC to the PRN printer.
