INSTALLATION
────────────
WIO Package include two versions on the same program. WIO.EXE which is
a smaller version and WIOBIG.EXE which is the full "Big" version. The
Big version requires 40KB more memory then the standard version. Both
versions are used and installed in the same way.
To install WIO into RemoteAccess, add a menu type 7 to one of your
menus and in the option field write the full path and name of the
WIO.EXE program. No other installations needed. WIO reads all it's
information from Remote- Access. By default, WIO will use the user's
real-names. by adding a /H command line parameter to WIO, it will use
handles instead.
Place the WIOHELP.A?? files in the TEXT directory configured in
RACONFIG. You may edit these files to include your own help.
USING WIO
─────────
When WIO is launched it will display all logged users on all lines and
will allow the user to send messages to every one of them. The user
have the following keys active:
Numbers from [1] to [8] - will send a message to the user on that
line. If no user is logged into the selected line a proper message
will be displayed.
The [R] key is used to redraw the screen in case of garbage. Also,
messages for other lines will be shown faster if the [R] key is
pressed.
The [Q] key is used to quit WIO and return to the BBS.
The [?] key will display the help file WIOHELP.A??.
REVISION HISTORY
────────────────
Version 1.00 - Initial Release.
Version 1.01 - Fixed a problem when one user is sending a message to
another user that is currently reading an online
message.
Version 1.02 - When a user logged into WIO in low speed (1200 baud),
the three seconds delay was not enough to allow the
screen to be fully redraw before starting the next
screen update. This is now fixed and the update delay
changes according to the user's baud rate (10 seconds
for 1200 and 3 seconds for 14400 baud).
Version 1.03 - Internal release. RA 2.00 compatible.
Version 1.04 - Fixed problems when running on 8 nodes.
Version 1.05 - Fixed leftovers from RA 1.11.
Version 1.06 - Fixed some sharing problems when sending online
messages. Added /H command line parameter to use
handles instead of names. Full RA keyboard security is
also added in this version (the Big version)
