Starting the mower and letting it run for a few minutes to warm up will allow the oil to drain faster. Most push mowers have the drain plug located directly in the bottom of the oil pan. (B) Refill with oil best suited for your use and area. 2. While the oil is draining, check & clean grass and debris from (C) engine cooling fins. 3. Clean or replace the air filter. Paper filters should be light in color. 4. Tilt the mower on its side, make sure the carburator is on the top side. If the mower has been tilted the wrong way, oil may saturate the air filter and ruin it. (D) Inspect & sharpen or replace the blade as needed.
