  104. GMW's documentation, and GMW has a context sensitive online help file
  105. that can be accessed while running GMW.

  175. IMPORTANT!!! Please Read:
  176.  
  177. The install program AND Grocery Manager REQUIRE that VBRUN200.DLL be in
  178. one of the directories in your path, your Windows directory, or your
  179. Windows System directory, or they won't run.
  180.  
  181. VBRUN200.DLL isn't included in this archive because many people already
  182. have it, it's big (357K), and it is very annoying to have a big file
  183. included that you already have. It can be found separately on many
  184. BBS'es (see list at the end of this section), and it is available on the
  185. WINSHARE forum on Compuserve as VBRUN2.ZIP.
  186.  
  187. Be sure a copy of VBRUN200.DLL is in your path, your Windows directory,
  188. or your Windows System directory, then follow the instructions below:
  189.  
  190.  
  191.           {{ UPGRADING FROM V.1.09 OR PRIOR TO V.2.10 }}

  193. If you're currently using version 1.09 or older of GMW, and you want to
  194. continue using the information you've saved in the previous version,
  195. DON'T use the install program. Instead, follow these steps:
  196.  
  197. First, make a copy of EVERYTHING in your GMW directory
  198. (it's the safe & smart thing to do!).
  199.  
  200. Copy these files from GMW210.ZIP to your GMW directory:
  201.   CONVERT.EXE
  202.   GMW.EXE
  203.   GMW.INI
  204.   GMW_DOCS.WRI
  205.   GMW.HLP
  206.   TOOLBUTN.VBX

  208. Run CONVERT.EXE to convert your existing data to v.2.10's format. Click
  209. on the "Help" menu selection in CONVERT.EXE to read specific details
  210. about the conversion program. After successfully converting your data,
  211. you are ready to use GMW v.2.10.

  234. Automatic Installation:
  235.  
  236. Unzip GMW210.ZIP onto a floppy or into an empty directory on your hard
  237. drive. While in Windows, start INSTALL.EXE. You will be presented with a
  238. default directory for GMW to be installed into. This can be changed to
  239. anything you want, but please keep GMW in its own directory. Select "No"
  240. if you don't want a program group created for GMW (Install defaults to
  241. "Yes"), and then click on the start button. Click on the Exit button
  242. when the installation is complete, and then delete all files from the
  243. directory you unzipped GMW210.ZIP into.
  244.  
  245. Manual Installation:
  246.  
  247. Place VBISAMMX.DLL in your Windows System directory, create a directory
  248. for GMW, and place all remaining files into it.
  249.

  251.           {{ GMW SAMPLE FILES AND A QUICK TOUR OF GMW }}

  253. Included with GMW are some sample files so you can evaluate GMW without
  254. having to manually enter any data. These files are copied to your hard
  255. drive during the automatic installation. The sample files will enable
  256. you to see how Grocery Manager works.
  257.  
  258. Immediately after installing GMW, go to the View menu, and
  259. browse through the various screens to view. The sample files are
  260. set up so that you can view or printout a sample menu and shopping list
  261. without going through the usual steps to make one. Select Shopping List
  262. from the View menu. This is an example of what you would take to the
  263. grocery store. Select Menu from the View menu. This is a sample of a
  264. menu that shows what meals are planned on each day.
  265.  
  266. When you get to the point that you want to enter your own data,
  267. you may either modify the existing data, or delete it and start over. To
  268. completely delete the data and start over, be sure that GMW isn't
  269. running, and go to the directory that GMW was installed in and delete
  270. all the data files by typing the following command at a DOS prompt: "Del
  271. *.IS?".
