  8.        HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

  10.         EZMUSIC requires at least 512K RAM and any color monitor.

  13.        IMPORTANT:

  15.        If you have an earlier version of EZMUSIC, you cannot use the
  16.        old data files in this program. Registrants of EZMUSIC will be
  17.        sent (along with the FLEXIDAT program) a utility which will
  18.        convert your old data files to the new format.

  32.        DESCRIPTION:

  34.         EZMUSIC is a VERY easy to use data-tracking program designed
  35.         for your music collection.
  36.  
  37.         Since it is a small program, it may easily be kept on a
  38.         diskette with your data. (although it will run much faster
  39.         from a hard-drive, especially when handling large data files).
  40.  
  41.         It offers the following features:
  42.            1.) Easy Menu-Driven interface.
  43.            2.) Prompts at all screens.
  44.            3.) Search feature by any of 5 fields.
  45.            4.) Record Removal based on Search function.
  46.            5.) Prints entire file to line-printer.
  47.            6.) Up to 32000 records per file.(unlimited number of files).

  53.        INSTRUCTIONS:

  55.         Since the program is SO easy to use, no detailed instructions
  56.         are required, however, there are some instructions within the
  57.         program.

  60.        SUGGESTIONS:
  61.  
  62.         Some users may prefer other headings for some categories, and
  63.         since the first five fields are longer, you may customize these
  64.         to an extent.
  65.  
  66.         For example: if you would like to include the Group which an
  67.         artist is in, when adding data in the Artist field, enter
  68.         the artist name, then your own field:"  Group:  " and the group
  69.         after that. You may use the TAB key to easily separate your
  70.         self-created fields.

  72.         Since the program does NOT require the ENTIRE data field for
  73.         a search, you should be able to access your data by Group names
  74.         in this fashion.

  97.         This program is 'shareware'. this means that although it IS
  98.         copyrighted, you are permitted to use, copy and share it as
  99.         desired, EXCEPT: 1.) It MUST be copied IN FULL, with all of
  100.         it's files, including this one. 2.) None of the files may be
  101.         altered in any way, and 3.) No fee may be charged for it, 
  102.         except for a small copying/distribution fee by distributors.

  104.         HOWEVER: If you like the program, and would like to support
  105.         the development of quality, low-cost software such as this,
  106.         you should register it with the author. To register, if you
  107.         have a printer, print the included file INVOICE.DOC, or if
  108.         not, then send your fee to the address below.

  110.         Although a considerable amount of time & effort went into
  111.         this program, we are not setting the registration fee. But
  112.         any registration over $5.00 (Plus $2.50 S/H) or a total
  113.         of $7.50 will get the registrant a FREE copy of FLEXIDAT
  114.         as well as a list of other programs by the author.

  116.         As per above, you will also be sent the program which converts
  117.         older EZMUSIC data files to the new format.

  119.         FLEXIDAT is a program based on the way EZMUSIC operates, BUT
  120.         it may be setup to track a variety of items, such as BOOKS,
  121.         BASEBALL CARDS, VIDEOS, SOFTWARE, STAMPS, etc. also has other 
  122.         enhancements. (Can be set up to print to LPT1, LPT2 or LPT3, 
  123.         etc.)

  126.         Be sure to specify your DISK SIZE & TYPE (High Density or 
  127.         Double Density).
