  16. Thank you for evaluating "Around The House"!

  18. The first time you run the "Around The House" program, it will create all 
  19. the necessary database and index the files.  This will take quite a few 
  20. minutes, but it will only do this the first time.  The next time you load 
  21. the program, it will come up much quicker.

  23. This program must be installed on the hard drive, with at least 2 megabytes 
  24. of free drive space (the installation program will check for this).

  26. You will need to check the FILES and BUFFERS settings in your CONFIG.SYS 
  27. file (the install program will check this also, and give you the 
  28. opportunity to modify it you want to).  If you don't already have at least 
  29. 20 FILES and 20 BUFFERS, please change these lines accordingly:

  32.         BUFFERS=20

  34. The installation program will make the necessary adjustments to your 
  35. CONFIG.SYS file if you allow it to. If you don't, then you will need to 
  36. make the changes manually.

  39. effect.
