----------------------------------------
01-02-94 Release of v1.6 (PWD16.ZIP)
**NOTE** The format of the configuration file has changed.
You MUST copy the new configuration file over the old one and
reselect your options.
At the suggestion of Ray Sulich I have added a configuration
option for the maximum security level for the program to
execute. A problem could arise if a caller knew the
Verification Information for someone with Sysop level security.
They could reset the Sysops password and gain increased access
to the system.
12-25-93 Release of v1.5 (PWD15.ZIP)
**NOTE** The configuration file hasn't changed for this release.
At the request of Carl Dippel I've added additional
allowable characters to be entered in the Verification field
for those of you using something other than "Mother's Maiden
Name". I should have added these during the last change but
didn't think of it. Thanks Carl for pointing this out.
10-28-93 Release of v1.4 (PWD14.ZIP)
At the request of Fred McClaren I've added a line to the
configuration file that can be used if you use something other
than PCBoard's default value of "Mother's Maiden Name" for the
Verification PSA. Whatever you type in that line will be
displayed to the caller.
**NOTE** If you ARE using the "Mother's Maiden Name" for the
Verification PSA there is no need to upgrade to this version.
10-19-93 Release of v1.3 (PWD13.ZIP)
At the request of David Patterson I've added an additional
check for the verification name. If the first entry by the
user is a match they'll then be prompted for a new password.
If the first entry does not match they'll be prompted for a
second entry of the verification name (in case they simply
mistyped the first). If this matches they'll then be prompted
for a new password. If it doesn't match the program will
ask the user for personal information which will be formatted
into PCBoard's "COMMENT: PASSWORD FAILURE".
10-10-93 Release of v1.2 (PWD12.ZIP)
**NOTE** The format of the configuration file has changed.
You MUST copy the new configuration file over the old one and
reselect your options.
At the request of Chuck Goss I've added options to allow what
should be displayed to the caller for initial identity
verification (lines of the Address PSA and parts of the user
record).
09-26-93 Release of v1.1 (PWD11.ZIP)
Minor updates to the documentation.
The node number the caller executed the program from was
supposed to be formatted into the "SUBJ:" field of the three
optional messages (as in "SUBJ: JOHN DOE (3)" ).
This was only being done on one of the messages. Fixed.
Added another option in the configuration file to have an
automatic message sent to the caller in the conference of your
choice as a receipt and confirmation their password was
updated.
09-18-93 Initial release of v1.0 (PWD10.ZIP)
