Notice:
This Software is FREEWARE and intends on staying that way, check out the latest versions
at (313)421-9145 Pepster's Place BBS Open 24 Hours a day @ 14,400.
Description:
These programs are FREEWARE as all PPL programs should be and the source code is
included. If you modified the source code, you must do one of two things:
A). Upload the modified source code to me first and then I will distribute
the source code to Salt Air BBS and other bbses.
B). Take any reference of my name and bbs name off, then compress a new
file containing only your files and distribute.
I've create 3 seperate ppe programs using PPLC 2.00, they are still in the
rough stages, so please be patient.
The Three programs :
--------------------
HELLO.PPE (Source Code : HELLO.PPS) Ver 1.15
BYE.PPE (Source Code : BYE.PPS) Ver 1.00
LISTER.PPE (Source Code : LISTER.PPS) Ver 1.00
All three programs are in the beta stage, by beta I mean I plan on updating
and vastly improving them over the next couple of months.
LISTER 1.00 BETA (April 1, 1994)
Lister is my newest programming venture so far in the PPLC language and I
have to admit such a simple little program can do some neat things. I have
to fully develope my programming techniques in the PPLC language, but give
me time. Lister is simply a place where users can add a bbs to the bbs list
and they can also (IF THEIR SECURITY IS HIGH ENOUGH!) add their bbs to a
logoff screen. This is nothing new and I've seen many bbs listers
available, but some of them have the nerve to charge you for them.
Not me, I know how expensive it can get!
Calling Log (HELLO.PPE) and (BYE.PPE)
Pepster's calling log will log every call that is logged on and it will display
it to the next caller the people who have called for that particular day. It
will automatically start over the next day with a clean slate, no need for a
daily event!
Setting Up Pepster's Calling Log (HELL0.PPE):
I hope I will make this an easy and painless procedure! Make Sure to Create a
sub directory and that all my files are in that sub directory!

That's all there is to setup up HELLO.PPE.
I've added BYE.PPE which will generate a bullentin named BLT999 and it will
display the last callers, you must add it to your bulletin list if you want to
use it. The BYE.PPE will also display an ansi file of bbs names (which you
can edit using LISTER.PPE) to people who use the G command to log off.

HELLO.PPE, BYE.PPE and LISTER.PPE kind of go hand in hand, I would
suggest to you that you install all three programs, but that is up to you!
If you have any ideas or suggestions to these programs or any new ideas for
a new program using the PPL Language, please feel free to leave me a message.
I do run a FREE BBS and it is always open, although you will have to be
validated first.
