  15. Descriptions of the files follow:
  16.  
  17. COLOR        - A text file describing the PCBoard @X color codes.  For
  18.                display by PCBVP during configuration.
  19. HISTORY      - The version history of PCBVP.  This file tells the different
  20.                versions of PCBVP which have been released, their release
  21.                dates, and their benefits over the previous version.
  22. VPI          - This is the file to be displayed when the user requests 
  23.                help.  Please feel free to enhance this, as long as you 
  24.                send me a copy of your upgraded version.
  25. VP_TEST.BAT  - This program tests the .TRN file and puts the CHKTRN 
  26.                program's output into a file for display by PCBVP.
  27. VP32.CAP     - This is a captured session from my BBS running PCBVP v3.2.
  28.                This is what normal ops looks like.
  29. VPX.CFG      - This file tells PCBVP how to transfer files.
  30. FILE_ID.DIZ  - The description file.
  31. PCBVP.DOC    - PCBVP can be somewhat complex to install.  A lot of work 
  32.                has gone into the docs to try and alleviate this, but 
  33.                you'll have to read them for it to do any good. <g>
  34.                Please feel free to send me suggestions regarding them.
  35. BREAKREC.EXE - A utility used internally by PCBVP.  Breakrec takes a file
  36.                which is written without CR/LF pairs and inserts them.  To
  37.                use Breakrec apart from PCBVP, simply type:
  38.                          BREAKREC IN_FILE OUT_FILE REC_LEN
  39.                on any command line.  IN_FILE is the name of the file to be
  40.                read, OUT_FILE is the name of the file to be created, and 
  41.                REC_LEN is the number of characters to put between CR/LF 
  42.                pairs.
  43. PCBVP.PPE    - This is the PPL executable file.
  44. VPCFG.STD    - This file describes the .CFG file used by the registered 
  45.                version.

  47. All files listed above except for BREAKREC.EXE and VP_TEST.BAT must reside
  48. in the same directory ar PCBVP.PPE.  BREAKREC.EXE and VP_TEST.BAT must be 
  49. somewhere in the path.
